Ohio State Football 2025

I am likely in the minority, but I like this hiring. OSU loses its entire front four on defense going to need a DC who is creative in getting pressure on the QB and at the same time be able to stop the run. Patricia from what I have read runs multiple fronts, 3-4, 4-3, 4-5-2 which IMO OSU will need to do with the lack of dominant front 4 the Bucks had last year. As for his past most of these coaches have skeletons in their closet, unfortunately seems to come with the job.

Biggest problem OSU is gonna have is running a variation of the 3-4. You need the big DTs to be able to do that and going into next season OSU only has 1. They need the big 330-340 nose tackles to effectively run a good 3-4

for once I agree with you... the main reason...I think Day has done a great job with his coaching staff... and I think that the young D coaches will learn from this guy...

There is the spring portal. Again, this is why I like the hiring, Patricia will run different fronts from what I have read. Smart enough to work for Belichick he should be able to figure out college football, I hope.

Idk how often players of that size and talent are available in the portal and when they are there OSU doesn't seem to get them. OSU was doing a good job in the 21-23 recruiting classes getting bigger players but 24 and 25 was a big time drop off. Eddrick Houston is NOT a defensive tackle but OSU stuck him there and I don't know why.

The big 330 lb nose tackles need to be more of a priority for this program. Big reason why the goal line defense this past season was so good was because they had 2 330 lbers in Tyleik and Kayden to play together and blow up the opposing lines.

Good, he is he** of a lot better than SCUMs DC who got ran out of the NFL with the Ravens and Giants like I said Burrow misses winky at Baltimore. NE won 2 SBs with Patricia as DC I don't care what his record was as HC, but he is a proven DC.

But yet he held the suckeyes to under 100 yards rushing and 10 points. Hmm, I think I'll take that from a DC.

I 100% like what he did to the suckeye offense. Can you say Masterpiece!!!
