He actually left because he accomplished his goal of bringing the National Championship to Ann Arbor. He has ALWAYS wanted to try and win the Vince Lombardi. So the timing was perfect and I wish him nothing but the best. You have your own rendition of what Harbaugh did. I will stick with mine and you stick with yours. Cased closed for me on that topic. Did the poor whiny suckeyes and cryin ryan get their signs stolen? What a shame. Do I care? Absolutely not. Michigan just out physicals the charmin soft suckeyes. And the entire stadium already knows Michigans signs and playbook. Handoff, handoff, handoff. And then handoff some more. But once again Michigan still wins the rushing battle that every year the team that wins that, wins the game. The whining gets old. But Michigan fans are quite used to it from suckeye fans.

The only "key" words are: I don't give a rats... if they stole them or not. Because of ALL the suckeye whining, I could care less. Michigan won "THE GAME". Michigan went 15-0. Michigan WON the Big10. Michigan won the National Championship and it was simply because they were the best team in the country. EXCLAMATION POINT! That is all that matters to me. Those are MY thoughts. Yeah yeah we know. You’ve displayed your lack of football knowledge enough that we know you think football is that simple. It’s a very complex game.

I’m a little worried about the running backs in 2025. I just haven’t seen enough of Peoples and Donaldson is what he is - a big guy that’s hard to tackle. I don’t think he turns into Derrick Henry this year. Do you think Peoples is up to the task of being RB1 in 2025?

Now the TE group? Boy, that’s a good group to have for a new, young QB. Arguably TE1 in all of football in Klare - what he did at Purdue with all things considered, he’d have an argument for greatest TE season of all time despite having less than 800 receiving yards. But do you think Jelani Thurman takes the jump in 2025 to be a legit TE1B option?

The important thing that isn’t discussed is how are the teams determined? Is it conference standings or ratings? Big difference. If it’s conference standings then non-conference games become meaningless

If Notre Dames berth is contingent on their CFP ranking then the berths from SEC and Big 10 also should be. Conference schedules are uneven and that was incredibly apparent this year.

The conference title games definitely become less relevant under the proposed model. Essentially it’s getting more and more like the NFL with a lopsided divisions. Like if you had the AFC Northwest, AFC South, and AFC East.

Ohio State hired 3 analysts yesterday.

Wendy Laurent - played center for Penn State from 2012-2016, played in 34 games and started 8. Coaching career started off as a OL GA for Buffalo, 2 years as a GA at Penn State, spent the last 3 years at Dartmouth as the TE coach while also picking up the Associate HC title last year. He will likely replace TE analyst Sean Binckes who followed Chip to LV.

Marcus Johnson - former Ole Miss and NFL (‘05-‘09) OL. Has been an OL coach for the last 9 years at Duke (‘16-17), Miss State (‘18-‘19), Missouri (‘20-‘22) and Purdue (‘23-‘24).
Purdue’s offense was an absolute train wreck this year a their offensive line was still good enough to allow their 2 top RBs average 4.8ypc despite not being able to keep the defense off balance with the threat of a passing game - they averaged 180 passing yards per game which ranked 113th in all of college football.

Charlie Dickey - 37 year coaching vet who spent the last 6 years as the OL coach for one of the other OSUs, Oklahoma State. Was the OL coach at Kansas State before OSU for 10 years. Also had stops as OL coach at Utah, Washington. Arizona and Northern Arizona.

Johnson and Dickey are huge hires as analysts.

Edit: Purdue’s lead backs rushed for 4.8 ypc, not 4.5 ypc.
