Nico Iamaleava Entering the Portal

This shiite is getting out of hand and will ultimately kill the popularity of college football if they don’t get it figured out. Tennessee wouldn’t increase his already massive NIL deal, so on to the highest bidder. I’m betting USC or Oregon. He’s very talented, but might be too much diva in him.

Agree....The title of the article I read was: "Iamaleava to leave Tennessee due to NIL contract dispute".
Just odd seeing a headline like this in regard to college.

Average qb in a non-NFL system. I can understand his camp trying to get as much money as possible now since he’s not currently an NFL caliber qb. I’m not sure where he even goes. $4 mill for one season is like 1/4 or 1/5 of what most schools NIL totals are at the moment. On top of that he’s not even a top 10 qb in the sport

Don’t know about all that. He will very likely be an NFL first rounder in 2026 or 2027.

It is fortunate to be an Ohio State fan. If my favorite team was a bottom feeder school I might be tempted to quit following college football all together. Just like bowl season. Other than the playoff games, I didn't care about any of the regular bowl games.

Oregon’s coach was the one who told UT he was being shopped around.

Hearing USC
It won't be USC or ND.

With a high-profile name like Iamaleava set to hit the portal when it reopens on Wednesday, April 16, several programs are expected to express interest. One team frequently mentioned in early speculation was the USC Trojans.

However, according to John Brice of Football Scoop, both USC and Notre Dame are not planning to pursue Iamaleava.

"IMPORTANT TO NOTE HERE: Am told EMPHATICALLY that neither Notre Dame nor USC has any interest whatsoever in Nico." Brice posted.

Stunning lack of awareness on Nico’s camp. He was as mid as mid gets. Later f**k stick.
