TJ Carper has resigned from Zanesville, to take the HC job at Chillicothe.

Chillicothe’s gain becomes Zanesville’s mess as a result.

This would be an extremely tough job
Yes, but they are in an extremely winnable league and have athletes roaming the halls. They’ve had some dudes go through that program. The downside is it can be a City League-type job as well if you can’t get those athletes out.

True, but how do you get those kids to go out for the team. Definitely need a coach who can get the kids to buy into the program while providing discipline and leadership

This job is one where it’s more helpful to be in D2 than D3, for the simple fact that R7 (the swath of playoff qualifiers outside of MW and the Fed) is easier for a program like Whitehall to build a run in November.

R11 by comparison can easily silence the Rams as soon as week 11 regardless of what seed they are, and regardless of how quick a rebuild (turnaround) plays. Their league and schedule can easily put them in the 14-21 final pts average range on a good year, and for R7 that at least gets you 1-2 wins. R11 though is a closed road. Too many good programs in the mix.

What is the situation at Darby? Saw they are 1-9. Just didn’t know if cupboard is bare. How old the coach that stepped down?

D7- Tuscarawas Central Catholic- The interim tag has been removed and Giovanni Ionno is officially the head coach.
