IUDOGS: 2024 - 2025 Ohio High School Head Football Coaching Changes

Will Marysville even have sports in 25-26? Looks like cutting extra-curriculars might be on the table.
Looks like pay to play went all the way up to $827 and now has been lowered to $527. I believe that is per sport as well, with no family cap. Meaning if you have three kids that attend Marysville HS and all three play sports, you would have to pay the $527 three separate times....Ridiculous.

To tell you how much of a mess they are in Marysville right now, they have changed the pay-to-play fee six times now since the levy was voted down in November. Place is a mess. Johnson was on his way out before all of this though.

Obviously growing enrollment and great facilities…but lots of questions

Saw online that Centerville’s coach resigned this morning. Any truth to that? That surprises me… if true.

Open because closing?
I don’t believe any of the high schools, outside of Cols Alternative (programming is moving to E High) are closing now per the latest proposal. South is going to become a 6-12 campus I believe.

It's true. Centerville's coach Ullery has resigned per Dayton Daily News:

Seem like Stokes is done at Coffman.

Wow! Some of these jobs opening up are pretty strange? I'm thinking it's probably not worth the time and energy that a public education school pays. When Ryan Day would struggle to win in most of these high schools and he makes 10 million. It's time to pay these football coaches in 0hio more than the band director.

He taking the Hilliard Darby job? Shocked he is leaving
Snedeker posted on Twitter that he isn’t returning.

I didn’t realize he was there for four years? When I saw Jerome in ‘22 I thought it was Glass’s first year there.

I saw that, they have had decent success just didn't see that coming. Figured he was stepping down and waiting to be named the head coach elsewhere

Rumor mill is that they did him dirty and asked him to step down. No real explanation. No heads up. But I wouldnt be surprised to see him land at Darby or even Thomas Worthington.

Marysville is going to be interesting with the pay to play thing on the table, even though its going back on the ballot in May.

Also wonder who is going to go after Coffman and what Stokes next step is. Movement is starting in Central Ohio

So there has to be a reason they let him go. Did something happen?
