One thing I strongly dislike about the Republican plan as a whole is the push to privatize things that are publicly funded with our tax dollars. Examples of this that currently exist are prisons and mental heath/mrdd facilities. A more concerning push that is happening currently is the idea of privatizing education while simultaneously attacking public education by putting schools in situations where they cannot succeed. Tax dollars should not go towards huge corporate profits and ceo bonuses.

I have voted for both republicans and democrats for all different offices in my lifetime. I have no problem accepting the truth. If they can provide concrete evidence, I will have no problem accepting it. I have a hard time trusting much of anything that Trump says because he has such a long history of lying and cheating. Taking the name Trump out of it, I would tend to steer away from doing any business with a person like that and if u were forced to, I would be very weary of what they said and make sure to double and triple check anything they of consequence they said to me. This goes for anyone; democrat, republican or other.


On the other hand, are you willing to accept if it’s proven otherwise?

I get it - if your side says, "Look, we took manufactured oppo research (lies) and used it to explain an election loss and then we weponized it, with the help of our media propaganda arm to cripple a presidency.", then it admits a very corrupt process on the part of the good, smart people.

But a hoax is, in fact, exactly what that was. Confession is good for the soul and the truth will set you free. It may hurt but it gives one something very important - credibility. Those who push hoaxes can't be trusted the next time they are pushing something else.

At this point, a lefty will go to "Well, you believed the Big Lie." Yep, many did. Not me. I was open to seeing evidence, but when none came... But on this silly Putin/Russia Hoax, we get, "I hope that didn't happen." Good news! It didn't.

I'm not sure what you're suggesting I lied about or what you think I believe. There has been a great deal of evidence that shows Russia ran interference. We interfere in elections around the world as well. The way you're looking at it without recognizing any data or evidence contrary to your belief is extremely partisan. The fact of the matter is that Russia stood to benefit from a Trump presidency over the candidates he has run against, if in no other way than the fact the Trump's administration doesn't want to interfere in the affairs of Russia, mainly Ukraine. I'm not saying that it's necessarily a bad thing, that's another argument. Alliances change, and if that happens for the betterment of our country, so be it. We used to be at war with England and now they're our closest ally. Now, back to Russian interference; whether or not Trump and his team were in on it is something that will not come out in our lifetime, much like the information regarding the Kennedy assassination.

I mean, he has been under investigation for dealings with the mob with his real estate and casino ventures. There have also been suggested ties Genovese crime family. It's telling that I had that information in my head and it was so easily dismissed. 🤣

Is it more that I'm old or that he has so many investigations going on that it didn't come to my mind? Maybe a bit of both.
