I foresee no economic benefit accumulating to myself having voted for Donald Trump and his having won the presidency. Yet sometimes it is necessary to vote for someone to change the direction of the nation. Democrats represent ever expanding government power. Trump represents a chance to break that cycle.

State affects me more than Fed. I agree with the TBD crowd, unless a negative POV is acceptable as to how I MIGHT be marginalized if he hadn't won. It's not clear I still won't be, as I head into my older years. I don't expect government to gain me. But I do look at how they dig into what I've got and get.
If he can "clear the swamp" in DC in a way that keeps columbus real estate from exploding even further the swamp in Columbus, I'd count that a win. Every major capitols is growing far beyond it's natural geography and contributions, held by liberals or conservatives. That's what needs ending. An urban country is not strong.

From my interactions with you, you have yet to give any credible information and just want to engage in middle school level name calling... which I'll admit, I have had fun with that game of one-upmanship, but if you can't take part in an educated discussion with the rest of the adults, you should see yourself out and/or ignore it.
What it really seems like to me is that you don't have any understanding of the policy, therefore you are unable to "play my stupid game." Rather than actually play that game, what you want to do is switch the game to your much more sophisticated game of "how many ways can we call each other stupid." I also love the game where we use the little laughing emoji at each others posts, especially when you have no credible way to respond. That one is fun.

You are trying to make a funny, but in truth if he stops inflation and maybe even lowers it you will reap from it. If he improves the economy, you will reap the benefit. If he drains the swamp and gets Fed spending under control you will reap the benefits. Will you be honest if we get to the point that Trump talks about that you are tired of winning. I honestly wish the Democratic party would quit catering to such a small demographic and simply make the statement, "all people deserve equal rights" and then stand by that. It's the truth and it address the issue. However, it is not an issue that the majority of the population is affected by or even cares about. Important, yes. The issue your campaigns need to flaunt, no. Anyways, I digress. I agree, we need to do something about the border crisis. I have always wondered why we sent so much aid to Europe and other parts of the world and then decided to completely ignore Central and South America. I feel like a better use of that money would be to help out our neighbors and make it so they didn't feel the need to flee their country to come to America.

Trump will make the tax cuts enacted during his first term permanent. Had the Cackler been anointed, then virtually every American would have seen their federal taxes increase. Rumor has it they're going to sweeten the tax cuts a little more during the process.

i read your above and my thought was this man is a true blue democrat and he even promotes the democrat way of fixing problems and that is throw money at it. History points out that we grew into a great nation how much aid and hand out did we get to make that happen. Our aid did not make Cuba the nation it is today the people sat back and let it happen.

Not sure how you got that, but ok... I would actually prefer we didn't send so much aid. If we were to give aid to anyone, I would want it to go to helping our neighbors and fix our problem of having an influx of illegal immigrants.
