Many who did not believe the original MSM narrative were called "conspiracy theorists" prior to the truth eventually coming out.

It turns out those one-time "conspiracy theories" were often proven to be correct.

I’m technically Native American since my great grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee, that gives me enough blood to claim tribal status. Don’t be such a pvss. The land was conquered, like most land all over the world, it wasn’t stolen.

I had a fully Cherokee great-grandmother as well. I think you're splitting hairs over conquered/stolen as it's pretty much the same thing. But it is at least a logical argument.

BUT, you're leaving out quite a bit that went along with the conquering. So I will co-sign the "don't be a pvss," argument that people should not be afraid of the real history ... good and bad. Recognizing and studying past wrongs doesn't make us bad today.

It’s not splitting hairs. They weren’t conned out of the land, they lost it. And that’s a common story for land throughout the world over the entire history of the earth. They’re not unique. And nobody has says you shouldn’t teach about the Trail of Tears or the Pox blankets, it’s the victim narrative and that we should somehow feel bad in 2023 for what was done.

Conspiracy theories and false narratives pushed by media are two different things. Tupac and Elvis being alive sharing an apartment, faking the moon landing, Bush being behind 9/11, the CIA (or was it FBI?) being behind the Kennedy assassination are not the same as CNN reporting that Trump called Neo-Nazi’s “fine people.”

Not all of those mentioned above were false narratives pushed by media. Without going back to count, about half of them were theories dismissed by the MSM. Only to be proven correct later down the line.

You're also using some of the biggest conspiracy theories ever floated out there as examples. Some of these other ones, while much more minor, are still considered conspiracy theories.

Disagree on splitting hairs and that's fine. Your argument there is not without merit.

But there are simpletons out there who think teaching the actual things you mentioned are, in fact, an assault on the country and should not be taught because "they make kids feel bad about the country." Those people, I'm sure you'd agree, are morons.

But to go back somewhat to enrollment and why folks would choose a private school ... I did learn a lot of truths in grade school and high school and that's a big reason my kid is going to private school.

For the record, I don't disagree with what you said on a prior page. It's mostly bad apples, not worldwide attempts at indoctrination. However ignoring or downplaying those who have and claiming/calling those people who noticed and find it problematic conspiracy theorists is kind of extreme.

Fair enough. Of course, there are a few idiot bad apples out there. But the anti-woke thing is a huge over-reach. Like Antifa, woke really isn't a thing ... it's just a farcical boogeyman to rile people up.

And you're right, nothing is good just because it's on the internet, of course. But that is a pretty accurate portrayal. If you look, Q-Anon, anti-vaxxers, 9/11 truthers, stolen election kooks, chemtrails folks, they're all pretty nuts.

Disagree here.

From the beginning, I've been anti-covid-vax and I've been right every step along the way. The covid vax IS everything they (government/media/medical community) told us it was not. "Safe and effective" is the only thing it is NOT.

Anyone who chose to have an experimental gene therapy injected over and over again into themselves and especially into their child is "pretty nuts".

Agree to disagree, I wouldn’t have classified anything listed as a conspiracy theory, at least going by its actual definition. And some of it is likely due to my ignorance on some of media hoaxes listed.

Just for clarification… “anti-Covid-vax”, does that mean your are against Covid AND vax or you are against the Covid vax?
Do you do anything to protect yourself from Covid or do you think it is all a hoax?

What? Just because you either identify with the woke crowd (which based on your posts seems likely) or you didn't experience any firsthand doesn't mean it isn't a thing. There absolutely is a group called Antifa, they did in fact protest and riot, burning down cities in the aftermath of George Floyd's death. That actually happened. You saying that is more more gaslighting than CNN and MSNBC claiming "mostly peaceful protests" as parts of the city is literally burning in the background.

Additionally there were a lot of people who lost their jobs over the Covid Vaccine, include nurses who were on the front lines during the worst parts of Covid. People in our own government were calling for non-vaccinated people to lose any privilege to go out into society - grocery shopping, work, etc.

So don't sit here and tell us that being "woke" is just fear porn like the boogeyman, because that clearly isn't true.

I believe COVID exists and it was likely created on purpose in a Chinese lab and partially funded by American dollars. It is VERY similar to the flu. It impacts those who have co-morbidities, the fat, and the old. I believe Ivermectin and other options exist for early treatment but the government needed Emergency Use Authorization so they black-listed the treatment and went into business with Big-Pharma. Think about that?!? Other than common sense hand-washing, I did nothing to protect myself and got covid in 2020. It was mild. I only knew I had it because of losing taste and smell. My body did what it is trained to do and fought it off within a week. Now my long-term immunity is superior to anyone who is vaxxed and boosted. The "vaccines" seem to work for a period of time (weeks) before their effectiveness rapidly wears off and those who received it are even more at-risk because their immune system has been weakened.

Masks have NEVER worked to slow down covid. Not once in the entire world. But anyone who wants to continue to wear a mask and get the vaccine (like the flu shot) over and over again should feel free. But mandating all people inject a, still not-approved, experimental gene-therapy, into their bodies that does not work, defies all logic. What about HIPAA and my body my choice? All that went out the f*ckin' window right away. They actually required you to "show your papers" in order to have a job, go to college, and function in society...it is unforgivable. They blatanlty increased the risk when they closed rec centers, gyms, parks and beaches but left fast-food open???? History will look back and wonder "Why and how did the people let this happen?" Like we do with Germany in the 1930-40's and what they did to Jews. The worst of all, is injecting this experimental shot into our children. WTF?!? They HAVE NEVER BEEN AT RISK for covid and yet we stand by and let it happen over and over again. It's criminal and heaven help us if these side effects continue to increase in size and scope.

The more that comes out about all the pages and pages of health risks (myocarditis, heart failure, fertility, women's menstrual cycles, and the young "dying suddenly") associated with the vax, the happier I am to have never been brainwashed by the lying MSM, giant pharma, government, and the medical establishment. If I foolishly put this in myself it is what it is...but if I allowed this to be put into my kids...I'd never forgive myself.

I agree with much of your statement. Most mask usage is comically useless. I do believe the vaccine slowed down the spread enough for natural immunity to build up without killing hundreds of thousands. Aren’t all medical advancements experimental at the beginning. There are diseases that are practically extinct now due to vaccines. Someone had to be the first to try it. I do think some governments went way overboard with the restrictions. It should be an awakening to the potential for what our government can do when they decide to declare an emergency.

You cant possibly agree with this.

Of course medical advancements are experimental in the beginning. The first to try it should be animals in a lab and volunteers on a scale that can be studied in full. This is why you wait and test it for years and years. NEVER should you mandate it across an entire population without knowing the impact and potential side effects. I think they knew and didn't care. Myocarditis, blood clots, cancer, miscarriages, heart attacks, women's menstrual cycles, etc...this dramatic increase is not normal. And we find out more with each passing day. The old and vulnerable are one thing, but injecting this into innocent, not at-risk, children?!?

They black-listed other treatment options which could have helped right away and are still hiding the negative data. Think about that. How many died early who could have been saved. Instead they lie and say "safe and effective".

People are having all types of current complications and dying from vaccine side effects, yet no one will tell the truth (medical, pharma, government, and media). Europe is seeing a significant uptick in death right now and I pray it is not on its way here. What happens in a couple years if the vaccinated are still having issues? Will you just say "someone had to be the first to try it?"

This is a crime against all humanity, and everyone acts like "Oh, well. We did our best at the time."

Woke is actually just fear porn and a decedent of the frightful "politically correct" boogeyman. In fact, I'm not sure people even claim to be "woke." It is mostly, if not entirely, people being anti-woke. Can we even define what it is?

Antifa, on the other hand, means anti-fascist. Who, then, is the leader of this group?

Both of these terms are no doubt rooted in a reality somewhere and probably more widespread than my arguments would suggest or than I have experienced. But they are only significant in the fact that they rile people up.

Sure there is And TBH, I mostly disagree with that group. But I'm far less concerned with a bunch of folks who want me to police my slang or use a different pronoun to address them than I am with the deranged block of lunatics on the right.
