No it’s based on the final 4 bracket. Home team is at the top.I wonder if OHSAA does it like Texas High School Football.
Flip a quarter to decide Home/ Visitor assignment.?

I heard they “claim to flip” a coin.I wonder if OHSAA does it like Texas High School Football.

The question is how/why they draw the bracket like they do. Is it arbitrary? Is it random? Is there a discernable pattern from year to year?No it’s based on the final 4 bracket. Home team is at the top.
I think The OHSAA would be Better served to get aroundNo it’s based on the final 4 bracket. Home team is at the top.
Irregardless of whether federal and or Ed choice voucher moneys follow the stundent out of their home district, Private schools have no district boundaries, their cherry picking is nonconsequential, atleast as far as the OHSAA goes. Most build these power house teams through monstrous trench talent. Is it fair? Hmm...Without making any comment on Hoban’s roster construction practices, this is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read.
That depends on how they do it. This year it's 8/7/6/5. Last year it was 7/5/6/8. In 2021 it was 8/7/6/5. In 2020 it was 5/8/6/7.The Bracket Methodology seems a bit antiquated and lacks
a certain parity to the proceedings.
Flip a coin for the final 4 bracket and then as I said top team in the bracket is home for the championship game. The question is how/why they draw the bracket like they do. Is it arbitrary? Is it random? Is there a discernable pattern from year to year?
See there’s the parity issue for region 6.??That depends on how they do it. This year it's 8/7/6/5. Last year it was 7/5/6/8. In 2021 it was 8/7/6/5. In 2020 it was 5/8/6/7.
If anyone is getting shafted there it's R6. Every other region has had a chance to be home team in the finals.
There was a #1 seed that was the away team in regional play?Heck I know a #1 seed who has been the visitor the last 2 weeks and will be the
Visitor once again on Friday.
No matter where they put the games, someone will be 8 Mike's away. Might as well be you.Idont mind being 8 Mike's away from championship weekend, but it's really not fair for much of the state.
This.I would guess around 14-16k. OHSAA says 8k
And which side of the field your fans sit on.... That away side at Benson is ridiculous... Fewer seats between the 40's due to that stupid hole for concerts as well as that frame for concert lights which they use to take down but now seems permanent... Hate going over there every other year for the McK game....In reality it’s irrelevant as to who is home or away for the title game, other than wearing a dark jersey.
Totally agree, I never thought I would miss the drip. Truth the place did have integrity. I just wonder what this place will look like 25 years from now, when Mck senior is long gone and the district is D4.And which side of the field your fans sit on.... That away side at Benson is ridiculous... Fewer seats between the 40's due to that stupid hole for concerts as well as that frame for concert lights which they use to take down but now seems permanent... Never won a state titleWhen was Massillons last state title appearance and win?
Yes. the other team complained the neutral site visitor section was not large enough forThere was a #1 seed that was the away team in regional play?
Which is probably why when Massillon is in the final 4 they are always at the top of the bracket. And which side of the field your fans sit on.... That away side at Benson is ridiculous... Another has been St.V fan running his hole. You guys turned in the man card. It’s basketball season for you.Never won a state title
That would consistently disadvantage certain regions. Why couldn't they just use computer point totals when they get to the semi finals to determine home and away?
I’m done with that side of the field forever. And which side of the field your fans sit on.... That away side at Benson is ridiculous... Hopefully you're right but the live streaming has put an end to the really huge crowds.I would guess around 14-16k. OHSAA says 8k
I can’t wait to hear how the fans of the 7 teams that have to sit on that side this weekend feel. It’s a complete joke that they leave that stage up and it’s completely in the way. Typical canton.I’m done with that side of the field forever.
Notice how the stage was in the endzone at the Crew? Looked pretty good there!I can’t wait to hear how the fans of the 7 teams that have to sit on that side this weekend feel. It’s a complete joke that they leave that stage up and it’s completely in the way. Typical canton.
That was a great stadium !!Notice how the stage was in the endzone at the Crew? Looked pretty good there!
