That's right we are at the dawn of the age of FAKE hate crimes aimed at the trans & LGBT communities. You see there aren't enough REAL hate crimes here so they start making them up. Allen said the suspect being nonbinary was "part of the picture" in considering hate crime charges but he wouldn't elaborate.

Experts say someone who is nonbinary can be charged with a hate crime for targeting fellow members of the same group because hate crime laws are focused on the victims, not the perpetrator. But bringing a hate crime case to conviction can be difficult, because prosecutors must prove what motivated the defendant, a higher standard than usually required in court.

So what is the point? First, non binary and gay are not the same thing. Not even close. As such, one can be non binary and hate gays. Second, his lawyers non binary declaration after being arrested and prior to charges was the first time anybody who knew him had heard of it. Not his father, mother, or friends/acquaintances. Seems like he had a sudden self revelation after the shooting.

That is true.

I don't think you even recognize non binary as real. Are you suggesting that this is not a hate crime because of something that does not even exist?

Interesting that you bring his "Father" into it. The biological "Father" had no relationship with Aldrich. The "Father" beat the Mother before and after the birth of Aldrich. A restraining order was brought against the "Father" soon after the birth. Aldrich changed his name as a child to avoid being found by the "Father". The "Father" believed his son had died in 2016 and only within the last 6 months found out he was in fact still alive

His "Father" is not really a Father. He would not have known about his child's nonbinary status.

As for his other family, not sure they would have known much about him unless he confessed it to them while SWAT was outside and he was threatening to blow up his Mother and Grandparents.

What media outlet called him MAGA? His father and grandfather have been called that but never saw it applied to him.
