Nussmeier is a top NFL prospect?
Not anymore.Nussmeier is a top NFL prospect?
Herbie's one of the few guys at ESPN that I respect the opinion of.Things I never need to hear about: Herbstreit’s dog. WE. DO. NOT. CARE.
I respect his opinion, but I couldn’t care less about his dog. What other sports media personality gets their pet on TV ever, much less on a weekly basis? And why am I supposed to care that the pet is in attendance?Herbie's one of the few guys at ESPN that I respect the opinion of.
Like I told you previously, aside from Texas, the Aggies already faced their toughest opponent in Week 1.LSU sp. teams yikes. 2 missed FG's and a messed up snap on a 3rd FG. Nussmeier having a bad 2nd half, A&M starting QB has been yanked. SEC football at its finest, no.5 for LSU should have been kicked out of the game for head butting Nussmeier.
He’s not going to be the #1 pick, but I think he might be the third-best QB in this draft. His worst games have been when he’s been asked to throw 50+ passes with the D teeing off because LSU can’t run the ball. Not anymore.
Where did I say LSU was a great opponent, quit making stuff up. Better than MAC school ND yes. A&M starting QB was bad if Reed had played vs ND different ballgame. Saying that A&M has to travel to SC, I will go with the gamecocks not that SC is a great opponent, but they are better than MAC school ND. NIU, NIU, NIU.Stirred and Very Shaken’s whiplash posts on the LSU-Texas A&M game are hilarious. Goes from acting like LSU is a great opponent at halftime to immediately trashing and discrediting LSU thereafter.
This post, which was in response to my comment that Notre Dame was A&M’s toughest opponent besides Texas, necessarily implies that you believed LSU to be a very good team.Might want to tell the Aggies that losing to LSU 17 - 7 at half and LSU has missed 2 FG's.
At halftime A&M had a whopping 7 pts. with Weigman at QB. Different team with Reed at QB, but I never posted A&M was a great opponent better than MAC school ND, yes. ND lost to NIU not even a top MAC school, and barely beat UofL, wait till the irish play at the other SC and you will see how bad ND is not that the trojans are that great but are better than the huskies little brother ND.This post, which was in response to my comment that Notre Dame was A&M’s toughest opponent besides Texas, necessarily implies that you believed LSU to be a very good team.
1. If you think LSU is better than Notre Dame, I don’t think you understand football. LSU would trade for ND’s defense in a heartbeat. LSU has a better passing QB, a couple better O linemen, a better TE (Mason Taylor), and a better WR #1 (Kyren Lacy), but the rest of Notre Dame’s roster stacks up favorably in comparison to LSU, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.Where did I say LSU was a great opponent, quit making stuff up. USC’s offense will be a good test since they have several good playmakers. If ND wins out, they will be in the playoffs at 11-1, and I know you can’t stand that.At halftime A&M had a whopping 7 pts. with Weigman at QB. Now you are hedging your bets. ND has played nobody, again Weigman was horrible if he plays the whole game vs LSU, A&M loses. SEC as a whole is not good, the 3 top teams in America are in the BIG. UGA maybe 4th.1. If you think LSU is better than Notre Dame, I don’t think you understand football. LSU would trade for ND’s defense in a heartbeat. 2. A&M’s game vs. ND would’ve gone pretty much the same regardless of which QB A&M wanted to put out there. Obviously the coaches had a reason for putting Weigman over Reed at that time.
3. I agree that A&M will have a battle on its hands at South Carolina. The Gamecock defensive line is nasty and will cause problems. The South Carolina team as a whole is underrated and I wouldn’t be surprised if South Carolina is able to pull out a home night win next Saturday. Brice-Williams Stadium will be rocking.
yeah ND will make the playoffs in that scenario but 1st they have to beat USC. I would love another OSU beat down of the Irish esp. in the playoffs.USC’s offense will be a good test since they have several good playmakers. If ND wins out, they will be in the playoffs at 11-1, and I know you can’t stand that.
What’s also a possibility is that Notre Dame makes the playoffs while 10-2 Ohio State, holding a win over Indiana and not much else, watches the playoffs from its Columbus couch.
Quoting this delusional post for posterity. Some people have Trump Derangement Syndrome. You have SEC Derangement Syndrome. Now you are hedging your bets. College football as a whole has no clear no.1 Oregon for now but their league schedule outside of OSU has been not great though I think they will struggle vs TTUN, cross country travel does suck. Tx. struggled with a Vandy team that was tied going into the 4th qtr. vs MAC powerhouse Ball St. With the TP it is very difficult for any team to dominate, it has become like college bball. UGA is the only SEC team that has a shot winning a NC the rest of em are overrated. Yes I hate the SEC almost as much I hate TTUN. But one thing is clear even though college football has become watered down with the TP no Saban, ND won't win anything.Quoting this delusional post for posterity. Notre Dame hasn’t fixed anything. Their spread of -12.5 against Navy was maybe the easiest bet of the year.College football as a whole has no clear no.1 Oregon for now but their league schedule outside of OSU has been not great though I think they will struggle vs TTUN, cross country travel does suck. Everyone in the SEC has the coat tail effect because of Saban and UGA they think they all are great no, UGA is but none of the others are going to win a NC, even though Tx. should. And I can't stand bandwagon fans (you), who because ND never can win anything jump on SEC's bandwagon.

Look, it's ESPN, they are going to go with ANYTHING that gets ratings.I respect his opinion, but I couldn’t care less about his dog. What other sports media personality gets their pet on TV ever, much less on a weekly basis? And why am I supposed to care that the pet is in attendance?
This is pretty good, you obviously don't have the big ten bias that most pollsters do. Ohio State / Penn State this weekend is at most a top 10 matchup and yet they are #4 / #3 in most polls. All for television. Heck Indiana has 0 losses, one common opponent with Ohio State/ Nebraska and the Buckeyes had a dog fight and the Hoosiers won by over 40??? And it's just "poof" gone like that.Consider myself to watch more NCAAF than most, here’s my rankings:
1 Georgia
2 Miami
3 Clemson
4 Oregon
5 Tennessee
6 Alabama
7 Texas
8 BYU
9 Ohio State

Not sure why Beck is considered a first rd. pick. My guess is unless he really turns his season around, he won't be.Should have been another 3 pick game for Beck already. Not sure why Mike Bobo keeps calling for mid-deep and deep passing plays when Beck week in and week out shows to be a horrid downfield thrower. Not sure who looks worse here, leaning towards Bobo.
