UF 2 min. drive run the football.
That was on the line. UGA's offense is sad.Not sure what Carson Beck needs to do to show Kirby he should be benched. Take the sack you bozo
Elko gets the Zac Taylor award for the weekend, going for it twice inside his own 35 yd. line on 4th down.Mike Elko must be related to Zac Taylor, what a bone head decision to go for it on 4th and 1 at your own 34 yd line.
He has just 8 touchdowns to 11 interceptions in his last 5 games. I’m not sure he can throw it that well. He’s the sole reason they lost to Bama and allowed Texas, Mississippi State and Florida to hang around.Carson Beck is the antithesis of Howard. Can throw well but not run, is clutch when it counts
He definitely throws a lot of interceptions but is clutch when he needs to be. He also has dang near 100 more pass attempts than Howard does with a much less talented WR core. He’s not a first round pick but he does have a future in the NFL whereas Will Howard does not. That throw yesterday to a wide open Carnell Tate was just awful and typical Will, incapable of making the deep throws. He has just 8 touchdowns to 11 interceptions in his last 5 games. Will Howard is irrelevant to me in this discussion. I know you compared the two, which is what prompted this exchange but I’m looking at Beck alone. He definitely throws a lot of interceptions but is clutch when he needs to be. I see your point but at the end of the day he can make the tough throws/deep throws and that’s what I look at most before anything else with QBs. That is not something that can be taught or coached. You either can or you can’tWill Howard is irrelevant to me in this discussion. I know you compared the two, which is what prompted this exchange but I’m looking at Beck alone.
He wouldn’t need to be clutch if he didn’t constantly put Georgia in those situations with his horrid decision making. Georgia should have won all 4 of the games I mentioned by at least 21+ but didn’t because of Beck.

I guess that deep throw to Smith that was dropped was Howard's fault. Joe Montana did not have a big arm yet could throw deep. Throwing deep is about timing, throwing the football before the receiver outruns the football. He definitely throws a lot of interceptions but is clutch when he needs to be. There is timing but then there’s also physically being able to do itI guess that deep throw to Smith that was dropped was Howard's fault. Joe Montana did not have a big arm yet could throw deep. Throwing deep is about timing, throwing the football before the receiver outruns the football.
Maybe. I think it's the difference between the average joe being able to do it and the average D1 QB, being able to do it. And they can. The thrid stringers can do it. I agree with Stirred. It's who feels the timing. Who has the receivers that can time their run under it without allowing the coverage to get too tight, to make the timing look perfect. There is timing but then there’s also physically being able to do it
You strike me as more a MAGA kinda guy. Surprise you stroke that woke Disney owned companyIt’s another banner day for the SEC on ABC — currently the greatest television product anywhere in the world!
At noon, we have national title contender Texas hosting upstart Florida in front of 100,000+ in Austin.
At 3:30, the scene shifts east to a vaunted tailgating scene in Oxford, as Ole Miss tries to stamp its playoff seal of approval vs. national title contender and three-time defending national champion Georgia.
And in primetime, under the lights in Baton Rouge, they say it never rains at night in Tiger Stadium, but your TV will be raining awesomeness into your eyes when the classic Alabama-LSU rivalry continues. It’s an elimination game, folks — it’s life or death!
