bama losing in the 3rd qtr. to a team that beat Old Dominion 23 - 19.
And what a massive knucklehead you are. What a massive miss it was by Ryan Day and Larry Johnson not getting Dylan Stewart.
I’m not wrong and you’re a clown. And what a massive knucklehead you are.
You're an sweetie you think OSU should land every blue-chip recruit.I’m not wrong and you’re a clown.
Yes I do when going against South Carolina and that doesn’t make me an sweetie especially when that player is in Big Ten country. You’re the sweetie for having such low expectations. You're an sweetie you think OSU should land every blue-chip recruit.
You are an sweetie and your beloved bama is highly over rated.Yes I do when going against South Carolina and that doesn’t make me an sweetie especially when that player is in Big Ten country. You’re the sweetie for having such low expectations.
My beloved Bama? You are really dumbYou are an sweetie and your beloved bama is highly over rated.
Brillant defense play calling against a team that scored a whopping 23 pts vs Old Dominion. Are you related to these SEC homer announcers.Dam just brilliant playcalling on defense by Bama to win that game blitzing like all hell. Knowles would have rushed 3 or 4 and allowed South Carolina to easily get into FG range
LOL I thought i was watching a BIG 12 game no defense. The SEC on ABC is an awesome product!
Get Tessitore out of the boothThe SEC on ABC is an awesome product!
Why? He’s perfect for his role.Get Tessitore out of the booth
Yes it was brilliant playcalling to close the game. That doesn’t mean their defense is good but it was great playcalling in that instanceBrillant defense play calling against a team that scored a whopping 23 pts vs Old Dominion. Are you related to these SEC homer announcers.
He’s awful.Why? He’s perfect for his role.
Toledo destroyed Mississippi St. Hot knife through warm butter. Beat them worse than did Texas. There's no way Ohio St shouldn't be at the number one spot. Now watch them crap the bed.UGA struggling with Toledo (I mean Miss. St), nobody plays defense in the SEC anymore maybe Kentucky, but they are irrelevant.
Starting to make sense that there’s a culture of zero accountability and frequent arrests in Georgia.
How is this not a penalty?
Opposite, these games mean less because teams with 2-3 losses get in, sure the teams with 1-2 losses now are playing for their playoff lives, but why isn't it better to reward teams who go undefeated? It's just watered down. As good as the Ohio State/ Oregon game was last night, was it critical? Nah. They'll likely play again for the big ten final, then they actually could play again in the playoffs. The 4 team was better.I know most of us were in favor of the 12-team playoff — with @14Red a notable dissenter who claimed it would hurt the regular season. Today showed exactly why the 12-team format is so much better.
Ole Miss vs. LSU — which would have been a fun but virtually meaningless game in the 4-team playoff era — became a crucial contest tonight, with Ole Miss ultimately suffering a very damaging loss. Alabama and Tennessee would have been left for dead after losing to Vandy and Arkansas, but instead had their playoff hopes on the line down the stretch against South Carolina and Florida today. And now those two meet in a huge game next week. Teams with an early loss like Clemson and Notre Dame continue to play meaningful games as they try to march toward a full resume worthy of playoff inclusion.
Your argument fails because 4 teams have never gone undefeated to make the playoff. The issue was always how the committee decided which teams to put in with 1 loss. This eliminates that problem. Sure there may be issues with the 10th and 11th seeded teams that get in, but those teams are going to have a hard time winning the titleOpposite, these games mean less because teams with 2-3 losses get in, sure the teams with 1-2 losses now are playing for their playoff lives, but why isn't it better to reward teams who go undefeated? To build on @Cedar_Point’s point, of the 40 teams who have made the playoff between 2014 and 2023, just 16 were undefeated. That means 60% of the teams have had 1 loss and made the 4 team playoff.
