I just hate the karma factor with Houston. It’s almost a good vs evil deal. The Browns gamble all in on the reprobate Watson, while the Texans took their lumps and rebuilt…with help from the Browns…and have the hot rookie QB. Then there’s the Peter principle at play, where hapless franchises tend to remain hapless. The good times aren’t lasting and the comedowns are crushing. To me, until proven otherwise, the Browns are a hapless franchise. And don’t worry. They will have company. The Rams or Packers are going to harshly pop the Lions bubble next week too…and the Motown tears will be especially salty if it’s Matt Stafford who returns the Lions to their hapless franchise state.

Oh, and Baker and the Steelers are in the playoffs. Any success by those two would be especially painful if the Browns don’t get that win in Houston.
