Cincinnati Jobs

Goshen is a really good place, program, school and community. Kind of in the same boat with Western Brown. SBC schools in division 1. It's a tough go, but a great place come tourny time

Goshen has two really good guards coming back both will be Juniors.
Caden Zeinner 12.9pts 40.3% from 3
Connor Moore 12.6pts 35% from 3
The bonus is both the 7th and 8th grade teams won the league this year. Some pretty good talent coming up through the ranks.

As we know though the Goshen job is a every year you can compete for the league type of job. As long as Goshen is DI they will never make a tournament run unfortunately.

I'm sure this job will attract some good candidates.
we posted at the same time... didnt mean to copy ;)

Will it track the number of people that actually apply for the job? I’d love to see that number. I don’t know of anyone that would actually seek that Basketball job.
They have actually had some pretty decent talent the last couple years. Been right around .500 both years. But it will definitely an uphill battle. It wouldn't shock me if its someone with AAU connections in the hopes of bringing multiple transfers in.

any word on indian hill canidates....gotta imagine that will bring some notable names
I doubt it will go this way, but current Freshman Coach Rob Starkey could be an in house candidate. Long time JV coach at 7 Hills under current Indian Hill AD Brian Phelps, this year he moved to IH as a Health and PE teacher along with being the Freshman coach.

I obviously see no way JV Coach Adam Burch (Tim's son) moves up.

I would have put longtime assistant, very good alumni player, and former UC walk on Brandon Miller on the list but it doesn't seem he is on staff anymore.

As far as outside candidates go, could this be a job that interests Summit Country Day's Ryan Fleming? I've heard he really enjoys SCD but he could be the type of young successful coach they are striving for along with having experience dealing with similar clientele to what you would see at IH

Heard Carl is stepping down at Moeller to take it!
No way, Moe$$er has more $$ than Indian Hill. Oak Hills could not get Fleming a job in the building I believe do to some lacking credentials. Summit Private and can do what they want. Maybe Indian Hill doesn’t have the same requirements or Fleming has completed the necessary requirements within the last few years?

Good point on the credentials. According to his profile on SCD site he is an intervention specialist and has a Masters of Education in Special Ed so I would guess along with that he now also has a teaching license but who knows for sure

Starkey had one win this season. It would be a joke if they kept him on the coaching staff, much less promoted him. It will speak volumes to see how that plays out.

The Indian Hill Freshman only had 1 win this season and the School says they are moving in a different direction at Varsity level. They sure are, a Losing direction! What a shame!

Ya as I said, I would be SHOCKED if this happened. I was just trying to think of any possible in-house candidate.

Milfold's newly free coach would be ideal for IH.
Maybe Lawhon(Not far removed from CHCA days).
I saw Ovington mentioned before.

they all seem to "fit the profile"

Milford old coach retired. Lawhon has won 3 games the in two years at LM. They can have him.

Possibly Spring Break and waiting for next Board Meeting at a few of these Schools who have not named new Head Basketball Coaches?

West Clermont?
Indan Hill?
Goshen?
gonna guess the wc ad is waiting for the candidates that pacman jones wants.......no clue on indian hill.....depending on if baker brings his staff over with him to milford they had a few guys who are probably ready to take that program over

West Clermont has the perfect candidate in house but he didn't go to Amelia in the 80s so I doubt he even gets a look.
