After what happened to Mike Brown, that may not be a good thing!I haven’t looked at the Vegas odds, but Atkinson should be running away with COY at this point.

I hope he's grown up. I remember when he came to Akron with Eastern Michigan to play the Zips. The Zips student section got completely in his head. He had an awful game and spent the waning moments at the end of the bench with a towel over his head, not even getting up for time outs. A member of his family went to the student section and confronted them at half. A bad showing all around.![]()

Curry did not look good … the end is near for Curry & Golden StateCavs romp on the Warriors home court. Curry outscores Jerome by only one point. Cavs increase lead over the Celtics to five games.
How about thanks to the guy that had 25 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and zero turnovers in only 28 minutes and outplayed one of the top 10 NBA players of all time?Up 8 ty freakin jerome
100%. Garland is having an All Star year. Only a doofus would deny that. We all know that doofus. How about thanks to the guy that had 25 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and zero turnovers in only 28 minutes and outplayed one of the top 10 NBA players of all time?
And they are pretty much double digiting everyone. This is something so farOn-the-road back-to-back wins over West Coast teams. End the year at 29-4.
Like all New Year's resolutions, we can expect this one to be over on the 2nd.Awesome win and it 2025; a new brian.
Still a top ten defense while leading the league in offense. That's how you win 29 out of 33.I’m no longer a big NBA regular season guy as for using it as a measuring stick, because the NBA is truly about the playoff grind, but I do watch a lot of the Cavs games for entertainment and to see how I think they might do in the postseason. I’ll reserve judgment until I see what this team does when the league picks up after the all star break and gears toward playoff mode, but it’s hard not to be encouraged by Atkinson’s usage of the roster and playing to the strengths of the roster as opposed to making it play to the coach’s preference. The strength of this group has always been scoring. JB wanted them to be a defensive force, which retarded the advantage these guys had. Atkinson wants basic D, but he also is going to pressure opponents by making them keep up with the Cavs scoring. That’s smart coaching. Do what you do best and make the other team chase you.
Yes. They give up points because they play fast and expect to outscore you, but when they need to lock it down in the half court, they can. Mobley and Allen are great rim protectors, and the perimeter guys really get after it.Still a top ten defense while leading the league in offense. That's how you win 29 out of 33.
I've heard countless radio and tv critics say that the Cavs wilted in the playoffs last year. What they neglect to mention is that there is one critical element missing - JB Bickerstaff and his style of basketball.I heard a national radio guy parrot my thoughts about the Cavs this season. Absolutely loving it now, but need to see it continue after the all-star break when effort and intensity ramp up league-wide until the playoffs, where then the intensity really ramps up. Their greatest fear, which is mine too, is can the Cavs style work in the playoffs, or will teams like the Celtics physically punish them if the refs are letting them bang?
Yeah, those guys were crazy. Everyone could see the potential in Mobley, except those guys. Meanwhile, Mobley is just at the beginning of what will be superstar years as he takes it up another level.Remember the guys who wanted Mobley gone? Said he would never develop offensively? I remember them. Where have they gone?
Almost like they were never Cavs fans to begin with...
I am one of them … still here … already admitted I was wrong … but I was right about Allen & Garland … more on here wanted them goneRemember the guys who wanted Mobley gone? Said he would never develop offensively? I remember them. Where have they gone?
