Oh well, they weren't going 82-0. They showed heart coming back, losing to the best team in the NBA. The "challenged" can piss and moan but that loss is not the end of the world or a reason to do silly sh!+ like change the rotation or bench one of the best players in the league for a career journeyman.

Yep, but the pressure and intensity was definitely ratcheted up for this game. Boston clearly wanted to make a statement. Like I said, flush it. It’s something to keep an eye on, though.

Jerome is an extremely valuable bench player. He’s not a starter, though. Not having Okoro was tough tonight. He would have done better on D against Tatum, Brown or White than anyone else on the team could.

I will keep an eye on it … but I also have watching him come up big in crunch time all year … until tonight … I think it is a little premature to say he shrinks in pressure moments.

Exactly right.

The defending champs shot an outrageous 54% from 3 point range (22-41) while the Cavs were cold (10-29 = 34%). Yet Boston only wins by 3. Cavs can hold their heads high and if both teams have "normal" shooting nights the Cavs can handle Boston.

One thing that is a real factor, though. The way to a Cavs championship is through Boston, like it or not. Boston is a very physical team. The Cavs are more of a finesse team than Boston. It is possible the Cavs are not constructed as is to beat Boston in a seven game series. Only time will tell.
