Braun Wins Appeal; No Suspension

Apparently the handler of the positive test kept the sample at his home over a weekend b/c he thought the federal building he had to drop the test off at was closed. That's the loophole that won him the appeal, bogus.

Only the Cincy haters hating. As usual. Braun said he was innocent from beginning. And gave offer from DNA test early on to MLB. MLB is embarrassed and so is it's testing program. Kudos to Braun.

Only? I just listened to a very critical ESPN report of the story. They must be HQ'd in Haternati now, I guess.

Really dude? I know he's a Hurricane, but even you cannot be that big of a homer. The evidence is overwhelmingly against, him. As Mentor said he just won his appeal on a technicality.

When I first heard the headline that Braun was exonerated, I thought it was good for him, the Brewers and baseball in general. When I heard why he was exonerated, I thought he was just another cheater. He got off on a technicality, not because he had a false positive. Big difference.

Braun could have killed a guy and Hurri would still be defending him because he played for Miami. Get serious dude, Braun got caught cheating and got away with it because of some BS technicality. I'll think of him as a cheater and will probably boo him whenever I go to a Reds/Brewers game, and everyone else should too.

salto, are you in Cincinnati?

No, actually a Cardinal fan living in Ohio. I can't stand the Brewers, but my initial reaction was that I was happy for Braun and the Brewers. After learning how he was exonerated though, I have more questions.

Why?

Hurri-comet thinks the only people who aren't happy he won his appeal are "haters from Cincinnati."

So thank you for helping prove him wrong.

Why didn't they just order another test when they found out the first one sat in someone's fridge for 3 days?

I think the MLB f*cked up just as much as Braun did on this.

Amazing! Even after his press conference and how he handled himself you people won't downgrade the hate. MLB commentators are doing so on ESPN. Wait till Joey Votto gets accused.

Braun would never put sugar in his body at the "U". If he used than I'll believe no one didn't.

Amazing! Even after graduating Miami, you still won't get off your knees!

Yeah bc sugar is more detrimental to athletic performance than roids. Seriously, if Votto were in the same situation I would think he was guilty too. I am not a huge Reds fan, but this is just a matter of common sense.
