I think the forum filter removed the name of a popular sporting goods chain whose name is shortened form of Richard. I agree it would be nice to see that return, but in my experience Rally House has a better selection of pro and college apparel.Love the idea of having a Rally House, still would like to see a back on the west side
Kinda like when my phone auto corrects to "duck" like that is what I was trying to say. Rally House does has better selection, but Richards is bigger and offers moreI think the forum filter removed the name of a popular sporting goods chain whose name is shortened form of Richard. And Richards actually offers sports equipment. There's no place in Western Hills area for that these days where you can walk in and walk out with your sports equipment needs.Kinda like when my phone auto corrects to "duck" like that is what I was trying to say. Depending on where you live on the westside there is Dunham Sports in Harrison OH. I’ve gone there a couple times since Richard’s left the westside and found their selection to be pretty goodAnd Richards actually offers sports equipment. I was a frequent customer of “Richard’s” until they decided to drop fishing and hunting gear. Had no use for them after that. And Richards actually offers sports equipment. There's no place in Western Hills area for that these days where you can walk in and walk out with your sports equipment needs.
Sounds like an upgrade lol.The Dolly’s on Colerain is now open. Friends of my daughter said it was just OK. I said “So, same as Frisch’s?”![]()
This is 30 years overdue. These have been by far the worst stands in the tristate for decades on the visitor side.Oak Hills High School is proposing to replace existing visitor seating at their football field with slightly smaller ADA accessible bleachers. Seating capacity would go from current 828 to 700. View attachment 79951
Besides when Elder plays there do those stands ever get "full"?Oak Hills High School is proposing to replace existing visitor seating at their football field with slightly smaller ADA accessible bleachers. Seating capacity would go from current 828 to 700. View attachment 79951
Good question. I assume that Colerain brought a good crowd back in the day.Besides when Elder plays there do those stands ever get "full"?
In the mail today I got a menu for Quebec Gardens Restaurant on Quebec Road. I know it closed a while back. Has anybody heard anything about the reopening or have ordered from them? I enjoyed going there back in the day. It's listed at the same location. Says they are open every day from 10:30am - 9:00 pm.
Update: This is a message posted on the menu online by the owner.
"Hi this is Harry Hsu. I am one of the brothers started Quebec Gardens in 1985. Now I have two Chinese Restaurants voted Best Chinese Cuisine by readers of Cincinnati Magazine, NKY- Casual Chinese in Newport and Cincy North- Duck Beijing House in Sharonville. Please visit Quebec Gardens which will be next Best in Cincinnati ."
That's the way it sounds. J&J's is moving to the old Weinle Auto Sales at 5939 Harrison Ave.I read J&J's is moving to Dent due to being forced out by the landlord. I know Supreme Nut and Candy is closing as well, maybe for the same reason?
