2024 Massillon Tigers

That's a crazy and stupid method. I mean if works I guess it works, but last year against Massillon they converted one 4th down, but still continued to go for it on 4th even though we kept stopping it. They just kept digging themselves a hole and decided to continue.
Hilliard Davidson did the same thing a few years back and won the state championship against Mentor in OT. But with themem all thy did was run behind a massice OL that wereall seniors, so the goal was get 3 -4 yards a crack.. not my cup of tea but for that year it worked. But risky when you're deep in your own territory and have 2-3 yards to get the first.

Very risky and Anderson went for it when they needed 5-8 yards and on their own 20. Didn't matter to them

I think this is the game your talking about. They ran a triple option all game and even went for 2 in double overtime to win the state championship! Crazy game.

Assuming mck's standard O is not going to be able to score on us, I wonder what they will try as far as offensive schemes????
I don't think they can stop our offense so it really doesn't matter baring a complete melt down on our part. On a side note, I saw traitor Shawn at the freshman game. He made a quick exit without passing Massillon’s fans. I was close to saying something to him , but he is a pretty big dude and I didn't have anything good to say🤫😬

Slow start. Rushing offense was missing in the first half. Hope it was a question of coming off their victory over McKinley the Tigers weren't able to get up for this game. Much better 2nd half. Props to Licking Heights. They played hard and gave Massillon a battle the first half.. Many of their players played both ways. They had to be running on empty the second half.

I think our D has been great this year, other than against Bergen and Dematha and we sure won’t see anyone like them the rest of this season. Also remember we have played the last 3 games without possibly our best player on D.
I don't know. Walsh, Hoban and Avon have big lines and great skilled talent. As good as Dematha and Bergen. Probably not but I I would say pretty darn close.

Pretty much what I’ve gathered here is
Massillon’s always out matched
Too much of this
Not enough of that
The wrong kids start
Alls lost without DaOne
Teams not what it was in 1971
And everyones going to cry when we lose

Hell with all that stacked against us I say we just fold and try harder next season

Nah lol I'm not ready to throw to he towel in yet just not ready to say book the trip to Canton either. They are a good team but also a team I can see getting upset by a team with lesser talent if they screw around and don't put them away and let them hang around. Also if we hurt ourselves with Mistakes.

Respect to our local programs but the sheer size and speed of Bergen is not comparable. Hoban maybe but yall don't have the QB to really spread it out to all the weapons

Hoban doesn't have the quarterback I agree but Walsh and Avon do. Walsh spreads you out and their dual threat quarterback Moten can really sling it. I have not seen Avon but they also have a terrific quarterback. Yes Massillon lost to Dematha and Bergen and I was at both games. Massillon hung right in there with both of them. A few plays here or there they win imo. They were certainly not overmatched. Massillons quarterback Slaughter is very good.

Hobans a different animal this year with that near 300lbs Oline and 230lbs Feister running the ball at 5 yards a pop its going to be hard to beat them. Not to mention their D usually plays lights out. But ya never know. I'm expecting a regional final appearance. But I just don't think we have the depth to hang through 16 games. But you never know when it comes down to a final 4.
