Looks like the Buckeyes are getting Banzai Dropped by Ralph Friedgen.

This is uncalled for. If I’m Bjork I’m meeting face to face with Diebler to ask how this happened and what is going to keep it from happening again.
With Maryland's size this game would have been tough even with Bradshaw. Without him it was going to be a real test. Throw in the fact that Maryland started out making shots from Pennsylvania and it was the perfect storm. Nice to see the Bucks being competitive in the second half and playing like they have looked like they could play up to this point in the season. Awful first half, but I don't think it's time to go into panic mode

Bjork has a mountain in front of him needing to hire two new coaches in the two biggest sports very soon. I was expecting more out of him as an AD

Fire him.tonight.

Well that was brutal. Could not watch past halftime, found other entertainment.

We all knew that without Bradshaw the Bucks would struggle against bigger teams. What surprised me was how Maryland's defensive pressure just shut OSU down. Their formula is one that every other team will copy: double Thornton aggressively when he has the ball, and cover up the perimeter shooters. It disrupts everything OSU is trying to do. Everyone else was playing scared except for Royal.

Gonna be a long winter it seems...

Very good win, especially after that debacle at Maryland. They get a shot at Auburn next Saturday and Kentucky a week later. I would take a split.

Good bounce back win by the Bucks 80 - 66 vs a Rutgers team that gave Alabama all they could handle. Royal led the way with 22 pts. (a very good college bball player). Thornton also with 22 pts.
Too many people making a mountain out of a mole hill. That was a perfect storm of bad in College Park last week, things were back to normal with that performance on Saturday. Basketball is one of those sports where you can have those wild swings

Bucks played really well on Saturday, obviously much better. We will need more than Royal and Thornton to score going forward though.

What really boggled my mind was how Rutgers plays. Clearly Harper and Bailey are tremendous players. I just do not understand how a team can have 2 NBA lottery picks (both projected top 5 picks), and yet the team looks so inept. They are totally disjointed and play hero ball on offense, and disconnected on defense, for the most part. That seems like a poorly coached team, to be 5-4 with 2 lottery picks.

To me it seems like they have no one around them. I think he's a pretty good coach to be honest, but it does seem like the recruitment of those two kids chased away others who thought their production would be affected. He's turned Rutgers into a consistent tournament contender, this was a school that hadn't made the tourney since 1991 before that. They've always been a Big East doormat

Devin Royal has been playing some really nice ball, especially in the absence of Bradshaw and Stewart moving to the 5. Averaged 19.3 on 61% and 6 boards these last 3 games against power6 teams while playing positive defense.

Would like to see some improvement from 3 though for Royal. Not much court stretching ability with Royal and Stewart combining for one made 3pointer on 4 total attempts over the last 5 games.

But not sure how the 4/5 rotation works now with Bradshaw back. Think Royal has earned his starting spot.

Bradshaw has to start. What Royal is doing at only 6’6 is not sustainable. Royal should move to the 3 and put Parrish at the 2. Would have a bigger/longer/ more athletic lineup then that can can still shoot.

Meechie and Mobley can come off the bench

There are 80 minutes between the 4 and 5 spots. IMO Royal is the best of the 3 players. My plan would be Royal starts and gets 30 minutes, Bradshaw and Stewart get 25 each. The inevitable foul trouble brings in Parks; he has been playing pretty well.

120 minutes for the 1-2-3 spots. In my plan, Bruce gets 35, Parrish 25, Mobley 20, Meechie 20, and Mahaffey 20. Foul trouble fluctuations can be handled within this group. Anyone with a hot hand gets a bump in minutes on any given night.

Playing against the biggest team they have played, Bradshaw has been cleared and he’s not playing?

Diebler is such a worthless dumfuk he’s about as bad as Ryan Day. How can anyone support his trash roster management and coaching?

With the way they are playing defense and getting wrecked on the boards, they would have still lost and it wouldn’t have mattered. But they can’t buy a bucket. Missing even the easy and open ones.

Even when they play halfway decent defense, Auburn is hitting everything.
