2023 Southwestern Buckeye League

Short TD pass by VV. They’re a running team today though mostly. Speeding the game up

Valley View - 28
Westfall - 7

late 2nd Q

Bellbrook stopped Wilmington after they got inside the red zone to start the 2nd half, then marched down for a TD.

Bellbrook - 35
Wilmington - 0

Good season for Eaton, got about the worse possible draw. Oh well. Congrats to all SWBL teams this season
I could see Eaton had potential and I never felt comfortable til the 4th Q. Pass defense just wasn’t very good. Was this an issue during the season? At least McNick doesn’t have Massie next week which we were expecting. More than likely Taft but I haven’t seen all the R16 scores yet.

Turns out they do play Massie. Their pass defense typically isn’t strong either but I know little about this years team.

Excellent league strength this year! Too bad two of these teams won’t make it out of Region 20!

Shawnee will keep it closer than 40. We won’t win, but we will hang around for a while.

Why was it a terrible draw. Poor pass defense for Eaton? Or just recent results between these teams?
Probably for the fact you go 8-2 in the regular season and get matched up with a team that’s way better than 5-5 and has all the confidence in the world after what should have been a win over Badin. Meanwhile we play the song and dance of these Chillicothe area schools (no disrespect) getting over seeded each year just to go get smoked by a 15 seed in the first round. Just my thoughts
