Again for 3rd time, I'm old. My kids are graduated. If I did Have a kid on the team we would have already spoke guaranteed. I state facts and seems like everyone else sees them, but Urban LoL. Im done with you and moving on.

I'll take VV in a close one! Henson is the difference to me.
Hoping BB can pull one out here
Franklin by a TD
Waynesville seems to be playing well, I'll take them in a close one.
Edgewood by a score or 2
If Ross can play keep away they can beat Jackson but I'll take Jackson by 10
I'll take Brookville, closer than the experts think.
I'll take Monroe in a low scoring affair!
 
Week 5 Little school Update. Madison sitting at 4-0 talking smack after playing a string of cupcakes. VV studs sitting out cause they doo-doo'd on their classmates cars. And things about to come to blows in the Carlisle Dairy Queen parking lot over whos kid gets to carry the ball more. Did I miss anything?
 
Week 5 in the SWBL has big league matchups, and a few massive OOC games. Hoping the league as a whole has a nice showing.

Valley View @ Eaton - I am excited for this game. Eaton's QB and passing game have the potential to push the Spartans. I expect a higher scoring game.

Bellbrook @ Alter - This should be a battle. I expect a lower scoring, defensive matchup. Would be great to see the SWBL pull out a win here over a GCL foe.

Franklin @ Carlisle - Franklin found some offense last week. I expect that the carry over into Carlisle as well. Ultimately the Wildcat defense slows down the Carlisle running game just enough.

Oakwood @ Waynesville - Keep an eye on this matchup. Would not be surprised to see Oakwood push Waynesville and potentially win this game.

Edgewood @ CJ - Another big SWBL vs. GCL matchup. Would love to see the Cougs get the win here but I still think its hard to get a read on their team. Their opening schedule was so difficult. Expect this to be another close game that could go either way.

Ross @ Jackson - Ross continues to try to find it's footing. They're another SWBL team has played a brutal first half schedule. Things don't get easier with Jackson. I think Jackson wins but Ross competes well, keeps it close.

Brookville @ Madison - Brookville gets back on track in this SWBL matchup. Madison has a great start to their season but the schedule ramps up starting with Brookville.

Monroe @ Washington Court House - Another OOC matchup for the league. Monroe's defense is capable of making this game close but the injuries on offense seem to have caught up to them.
 
Eaton vs VV - Eaton's D is pretty stout, especially against the run. However, I feel that Eaton will not be able to handle VV's team speed and pressure. They will stuff the run and force Atkins to try and win it with his arm, which will turn into turn overs. At least two turn overs will lead to scores for VV.

Carter is the best receiver in the league ,maybe the best player in the league. 4.5 in the 40 and catches everything close.

I don’t see Madison talking smack in here, but I do think people are underestimating them.

I went to VV vs Carlisle this past week, and the QB at VV is definitely a great player. Also did not understand the change in Carlisle’s strategy after the first half. The running and controlling the clock was keeping them in the game.

Should be an interesting week in the SWBL!

VV @ Eaton- Both teams are solid, Have to give the edge to the Spartans Think Henson will be to much for the Eagles.VV coaching staff probably got the boys attention last week.

Bellbrook vs Alter - I'll take Bellbrook in this close game. Think it will come down to the wire in 4th quarter.

Franklin @ Carlisle- To be honest this might be the only chance the wildcats have this year. They definitely did not help themselves out with schedule. Franklin always seems to get up for this one. In most cases Franklin would always be favorites. I have to go with my heart and say Carlisle gets up for this game and wins a close one that they have to have.

Oakwood vs Waynesville- What to think about an upset by Waynesville last week. If they continue that momentum I'll take the Spartans. The Jacks will be in it though and will be a battle to the end.

Edgewood vs CJ - The cougars continue to build on a win from last week.

Ross @ Jackson- Ross seems to run the ball extremely well but think Jackson is to much for the Rams. Would love to see an SWBL win here though.

Brookville @ Madison- We shall see how good Madison truly is this week. I expect them to be fired up and compete with the Blue Devils for a little bit. Madison Kids seem to have bought ion so far. Just think the lose by Brookville to Waynesville last week will fire up the Blue Devils, Think Brookville pulls away late.

Monroe @ Washington CH- Monroe Defense will keep them close for awhile but CH pulls away in second half as Monroe struggles to throw it.
 
We need to come out the first half full speed ahead. Jyan and Houston will need to get going early. I think it will be a tight game but who knows.
 
Here's the deal with Poopgate.

Malara cleaned up after his dog and put the bag in the back of his truck. Henson found the bag of dried poop and thought it would be funny to put it on the hood of another friends car. It rolled off the car when the girl drove away so there was no mess or damage.

They thought is was funny.
She thought it was funny.
Everyone thought it was funny.

The administration heard about it and decided on disciplinary action. The team has to take action whenever the school does.

Apparently an inschool suspension + missing half a game is the penalty that fits the crime 🤷

Would you say that about VV’s QB taunting on the way to the end zone against Bellbrook?

Fenwick’s QB last year had plenty of examples of poor sportsmanship I witnessed in person.

I saw Franklin’s receiver play fenwick this year: no issues at all

These are high school kids we are talking about, one bad reaction doesn’t give you the right to judge. Sounds like your offended easily

Like the name. An interesting time to make this account though, the stats seem to say Franklin’s offense had a good game against CJ

to answer your question, anytime you have a neighboring rival district that is smaller than you, I can’t imagine a staff surviving if they lose (also worst team on their schedule)
 
Saw the Video clip on Josh Carter today. Hopefully he gets coached up. His emotions were running high in a close contest. Athletes are supposed to be perfect all the time. This is a very good teaching moment. The kid has a lot of talent and hopefully the coaches can have a teaching moment.

rumor has it he will be suspended this week. Any truth to this?

In school suspension and made to sit out half a game for that?! Stupid. Kids could be, and are doing so much worse these days. Good grief.

Punching/shoving kid to the ground after the game is over, shoving a coach, spiking helmet is no issues lol
The kid is a great player no doubt, but the way he acted is awful. Senior in high school should know how to act

I would not be surprised after what I seen on film, which would def hurt Franklin

Our qb was suspended a half for a prank that seemed harmless that someone thought was not

People get fired from jobs for this kind of stuff. Better off learning a lesson like this in high school and sitting out part of a meaningless game/part of a game to make it a learning lesson.
 
We live in such a soft society these days...

How about, "Hey kid, don't put bags of dried dog poopy atop of peoples cars", and leave it at that. Please tell me there is much much more to the story.

Not wanting to get in the middle of this redirecting it back to carries they overdose on fullback dives but that’s what sets up the pitch and the big avg. it’s not that the kids a knockout Rb he’s a good athlete with some speed like the borders kid that graduated. It’s how that system works if clod is still there after #3 graduates running this same dive x 10 pitch offense the next kid they plug in will put up identical numbers with a big avg it’s a system but probably still a 3 win team. Don’t think the AD has any intention of change it’s his boy.

I highly doubt that would make it on the actual game film, more likely somebody just recorded it with their phone from the stands. Crazy Horse has said multiple times he's just an old dude and his kids are long graduated.

That being said I would also like to see this haha
