I don't understand why anyone would try to keep it a secret anyway. It's going to come out either way if OHSAA does it. Kind of childish to me.
Why air that crap on here though? Are there any positives to posting it? Some people have to show that they know something that others don't.

Verdict first, trial later.

WTF is this? They've had months to investigate any allegations of impropriety. If/when OHSAA turns up nothing, he's still effectively been suspended for a game. IOW, punished for nothing.

We get it. It's week 6. Bylaws say that a transfer without an exception is finished for the year. Wouldn't the time to rule on that exception have been weeks ago?

And if (if) the Copley AD did send a letter and if (if) he just sent that letter now rather than before the season, he's pretty chickenshit.

The Copley AD sent a letter to the OHSAA. What a joke he must be ! I am an athletic director because I care about kids but want to try and ruin a high school career.
We also need to sue the OHSAA, enough is enough !!!
Is he the person that was on the Board of Directors of the OHSAA, a few years ago?🤔

It’s the same exact thing that happened 2 years ago during the week of the Fitch game.

Here's where the uncertainty comes in. A transfer can play the first half of the season without any explicit approval from OHSAA. To play the second half and the postseason, he must have written acknowledgment from OHSAA that he meets one of the exceptions.

This raises a couple of questions:
- Has OHSAA been holding the approval in limbo for the last few weeks or months? Or...
- Did he get that approval from OHSAA and now they're taking a second look?

The Copley AD sent a letter to the OHSAA, the exceptions aren’t the reason.

Looking on the bright side, if Owens doesn’t play this week he will be able to heal up a little longer after all of the hard hits he took last week. And Slaughter is more than capable of running this offense efficiently and effectively and take us to a win.
Agree Jalen wasn’t my concern. We will win tonight regardless. It’s just the BS that always comes up with us. And nobody ever finds anything worth a damn and in the process a kid who has done nothing wrong has to sit out for stupid reasons.

Totally agree. It’s disappointing that it continues to happen year after year.
