My friend MP asked me on another thread to explain how I keep score. The short answer is that I keep score the same way the B10 keeps score. However many pts (team pts not match pts) each of your wrestlers score is added to your team score. That total for all of your team is your team score. In essence, you are picking a team - let's say draft picks. Per the draft picks rules, you only get a #1 seed, 1 #2 seed, etc. to fill you team. You take your team to the B10s and however many pts they score (advancement + placement + bonus), that's your team score.

If you want the detail version, it goes like this:
Advancement pts in championship bracket = 1 pt
Advancement pts in conso bracket = 0.5 pt
No advancement pts given for final match in 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, & 7th/8th.
Bonus pts = 1 pt for MD, 1.5 pt for TF, 2 pts for pin
Placement pts = 16 pts for 1st, 12 pts for 2nd, 10 pts for 3rd, 9 pts for 4th, 7 pts for 5th, 6 pts for 6th, 4 pts for 7th, 3 pts for 8th.
Note: Placement pts are given as soon as the placement is guaranteed. So, when wrestlers advance to semis, they are guaranteed 6th place and given 6 pts (plus 1 pt advancement). If they win the semi match they are guaranteed 2nd place and given 6 more pts for a total of 12 placement pts (plus 1 pt advancement).
