The junior hit the ground running, leading the Elder offense to 38.2 points-per-game over the first four contests and throwing 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions in that span. In Week 2 against Floyd Central (Ind.), he threw for a season-high 317 yards and four scores in a 42-17 Panthers victory.
