I have not listened to Operation Mindcrime and it is on my list so I should be getting to that this month or next... the others I own and out of those South of Heaven I like the best...

Could not find too much to like with this album. Not the type of Death Metal that I like.

I can't even believe you could listen to this whole album. I could barely make it two songs in.

lol, I agree... with Death Metal I like to be able to make out the lyrics, if I can't then I need some great riffs to move me. This had neither. This album was actually ranked pretty high for it's genre for that year.... :shrug: I guess you just have to be in the right mood... drunk and passed out!!!!

Nice.... Machine Head is my favorite Deep Purple album. A few of these I have not listened to yet (Journey, Yes, UFO)

2nd album, not as heavy as their first but once again a beautiful mix of acoustic and metal. "In the Shadow of Our Pale Companion" is the song I liked the best. Great album but in my opinion not as good as the first....
