So far nothing that interests me.So far it looks like this:
Chardon vs. Camden (NJ)
Massillon Perry vs. Clarkson North (Canada)
St. Frances Academy (MD) vs. East St. Louis (IL)
So an Ohio team driving more then an hour south to play a NJ team.So far it looks like this:

Wait just a dad gum minute....we've been told that...."this is a great event for the kids.... ....AND THE AREA." Are ya tellin me it's not?So an Ohio team driving more then an hour south to play a NJ team.
A local team playing a Canada team.
2 teams coming from out of state to play each other.
Yep that stadium will be packed that day. ?
Haters gonna hate, jealous gonna be petty.Wait just a dad gum minute....we've been told that...."this is a great event for the kids.... ....AND THE AREA." Are ya tellin me it's not?
Well don't blame the "Spire Group" because after all, it doesn't exist.Wait just a dad gum minute....we've been told that...."this is a great event for the kids.... ....AND THE AREA." Are ya tellin me it's not?
I'm blaming whoever is setting up these games.Well don't blame the "Spire Group" because after all, it doesn't exist.

Yeah but that was a "great events for the kids and the area."Prepgridironlogistics.com. Same guy that set up the IMG/Bishop Sycamore game last year.
Has the time passed for games like the Herbstreit Classic and the games we played in, at Cincnnati (Crosstown Rivalry?), or have they evolved into the nationally scheduled games, between the"super" all-star teams?
Benson would be one of the top sites, in the country, for a national championship game, between the top two rated teams, in say the USA "Super" 25 poll, "IF" there were "ANY" interest?!
There's actually been one for a while until covid. If there were to be a national championship game, it would be held in the South or West or in a dome. They wouldn't put it in an Ohio outdoor stadium in Dec.
Did the post mention a date? Why read something into the post that wasn't there?!If there were to be a national championship game, it would be held in the South or West or in a dome. They wouldn't put it in an Ohio outdoor stadium in Dec.
Did the post mention a date? Why read something into the post that wasn't there?!
Is there any "high school" stadium the equal of Benson?

So then....with only 1 local team on the docket (a 2-8 one at that) and a Canadian....where are you on that...."this a great event" stance? Kinda sounds like you're wavering a bit.The more events featuring local teams the better.
Thanks for confirming "my" post mentioned nothing about a date.LAST YEAR'S GAME:
DECEMBER 17 & 18, 2021
Bishop Gorman High School
Las Vegas, NV
"Playing a national championship game, in a fall sport, after their season, in the best stadium in the country makes alot more sense than moving it to an inferior site, ONLY for better weather (e.g.: better location, more interest and of course proximity to the Pro Football HOF)!"
Sorry, but you're delusional. The Stagg Bowl ( DIII National Championship) was played this year at the fabulous Benson Stadium ( it is very nice) and drew a "great crowd," since it had a "better location, more interest, and, of course, proximity to the Pro football HOF." From the Canton Repository:
Only 1,830 fans showed up to see the first Stagg Bowl played at Benson Stadium. Most of those in attendance appeared to be fans from the participating schools.
Um....couldn't this be said about special events at ANY stadium? Hope THIS helps.Special events at Benson benefit their community and the local economy. Hope this helps.
Why make a fool out of yourself trying to make an analogy between DIII and high school football?
Massillon fills their side of Benson stadium for the state championship in December, every year.
A high school national championship has everything I mentioned, to draw a sellout crowd, while a DIII championship, without Mount Union has none of those factors (except the HOF) to draw a large crowd.
The Stagg Bowl was a very poor example, to "try" and make your point. Have the traditional finalists, who often play in the championship, EVER sold the game out ANYWHERE?!
Does "any" college playoff / bowl below the premier DI bowl games, traditionally draw large crowds?
I will.Who is going to feel safe coming to Canton?
A lot of people feel safe. That’s like asking a father if he feels safe sending his Freshman daughter to Massillon. Odds are it’s safe but bad things happen everywhere.Who is going to feel safe coming to Canton?
I agree with you. I'd feel safe about going to a game at Benson as well.A lot of people feel safe. That’s like asking a father if he feels safe sending his Freshman daughter to Massillon. Odds are it’s safe but bad things happen everywhere.
