What is "the character of the country".

 
It is competence that voters want. Not character and not emotion. Trump lacks competence, character and just flames peoples emotions with his chaos.

I'm with you. I think he is trying to say the character of our nation has switched from midwestern values to coastal values. I dont think he has a clue as to where our values stand and our character.

I'd say that personal accountability went out the window and the American press fans the flames of violence. The Trump story is totally different in the overseas press. Libs appear to be way to emotional (trump really is of no relevance) to make a rational decision.

No, it does not. I have been through it with family members, there is no doubt Joe is in significant decline; he would not last 18 months if elected. Who in God's name wants Harris, THE most radical senator in congress --- beyond Bernie the Socialist.
 
If we had character we would unite, act like adults and taking measures to mitigate spread of covid, but we are lead by a conman with ZERO character who is unwilling to lead or be truthful. We are vulnerable and weak as a nation.

Not taking a shot at you, but in all seriousness, taking Trump out of the equation, do you REALLY believe that Joe Biden is mentally fit to be the POTUS? And again this is removing Trump. If he were running against say Pence would you still think it was the right thing? Maybe you're good with Harris taking over when he can't go anymore and that's fine, it's America and that's your right. But you can't believe that Biden is all there and not in some type of Alzheimer's/dementia decline. I really do feel bad for him and the position his handlers have put him in. I really do wish there was someone else to get behind, but it's not right what is happening to Joe Biden. He is being used, nothing more than a pawn and it seems no one, his family included, seems to care all that much as long as he has a chance to beat Trump. This campaign and the stress of it will change the quality of his life in the next few years and worse might cost him several years he could have had. I've been through this process with three elderly family members and the signs are all there. For the party screaming about protecting the elderly and vulnerable from a virus, it's really a bad look.

When we locked down in March/April, we were told explicitly not to wear masks. And those lockdowns did so much damage economically, we can’t do it again.

What rational person cares about the spread of a virus with a 99% survival rate? You closing down every year for the flu as well?

The left wants us to be weak and vulnerable so they can impose their draconian mandates upon us but there are still many patriots who arent going to lay down for the socialist SJW PC facist agenda.

......this might be a tad strong. But, we do need to do something about the Leftist indoctrination that occurs in our public school systems. It may take a generation, but we could get this thing back on track.
