One of the lesser-known benefits of the Y chromosome is that it affords us the ability to compartmentalize our stupidity, arrested adolescence, etc. You would probably be appalled to find out what some of us do IRL when we aren't burning time here.

Never read the books, nor saw the movie, but I'll have to agree with slider that Ms. Lawrence is very attractive. I really can't add anything else to your discussion.
 
I've seen them both because my girlfriend loves the books and don't get the big deal. I thought they were both very slow and boring movies. My girlfriend says it's because I don't understand the characters because I haven't read the books. I will say I thought the ending to this one had a good twist that has me slightly intrigued in the next one.

Disappointed. First time I have ever opened this thread. "Hunger games" is what my 16 yr old daughter is in to.

I have never read the books. I saw the first movie. It was entertaining. Having never read the books, I'm interested in seeing what's different with this movie, seeing as they're competing in the Games again.
 
Lol that's what I'm talking about. I'm sure it's entertaining. An interesting story. But with people trying to talk about the "dystopian" aspect of it... come on. I'm starting a thread about "How to eat fried worms" and talk about the depths of depravity people will stoop to all to get a mini bike. It's supposed to be a fun story... don't act like it's "so much more than that".

You are right. I don't understand how grown men can get into tween movies? I guess you are more in touch with your tweener side than I.

It actually seems you are rattled that we don't get into tweener shows like you and you don't understand why. I guess I don't understand why you wear leggings but that in itself probably explains why you are into this stuff. Each their own I guess.

:laugh: nice try, but I've never once posted lamenting why you and your flute playing buddy don't like the hunger games. On the other hand, you and flutey seem real concerned about other people being interested in it.
