Nickelback>DMB
You are the Nickelback of internet posters.
y'all ruined my thread with talks of recently, Chris Heisey and Nickelback
Still kind of indifferent on the series. Books were okay and the first movie was decent. Hearing really good things about Catching Fire though. Plus, Jennifer Lawrence omg.
I have read all three books too. Catching Fire was my favorite. The 3rd book, was my least favorite. It's been a year or so since I read Catching Fire and I'm reading it again now before I go see it in theaters over Thanksgiving weekend. I'm looking forward to it. I enjoyed the first movie, so it sounds like I will enjoy this one too.
I think it's silly that it's being split up. I hate how Hollywood is doing that for every book. Totally a money-maker, because generally it doesn't help the art. Harry Potter was different because it's a 700+ page book. Hunger Games and Hobbit are shorter books for pre-teens.
Catching Fire is the better of the two actual hunger games books

Hmmmm.
Nah I'd say it's more for high school/college crowd
I'd say high school crowd as far as the content. I'm sure the reading level is lower, they weren't especially well-written books
oh btw there's no reason a teen book that was like 350 pages should be broken into 2 movies. C'mon man
Hunger Games was written for and published by Scholastic for the 6-8th grade readers. If high school/college students are only reading at the 7th grade level, that is very sad.
