MCK 2023

Will there be a QB competition or is the job Rode's?
There will always be competition. However, in QB Keaton Rode, you have a young man who alternated at the QB position his sophomore year; was the unquestioned starter his junior year, with some media outlets naming him the 2022 McKinley MVP. As a senior in the 2023 season, the job is his, barring injuries. He'll probably be named a co-captain. The Bulldogs have to concern themselves with viable "competition" at other positions, such as the DL and OL.

Will they have the same staff on DEFENSE again, something has to change?

Except there are a few problems with the above post….the mck starting QB this year is from Louisville and your starting RB is from Alliance 🤦🏻‍♂️😂
The next time there is a mck team of just Canton kids will be the first time.
Nino Hill and his twin brother are NOT from Alliance goof. Know wtf you are talking about before making dumb, lazy statements. They both played little league for the Raiders in the Canton little league and then for Bulldog Elite travel team after that before they moved to Alliance. You weird dudes just say anything. Smh

But carry on with whatever lie fits your narrative. And while Keaton has gotten better and has grown on me we would have been fine with Williams as the sole QB 2 years ago and with McClellan at QB currently. And just to fill you in since you have no clue and talk out your backside, his dad (Rhode) is on the staff hence his son being on the team and also they have a good relationship with Coach McDaniels. It's not like how you guys do. Scouring down Route 8 looking for talent. Or scouting the Canton youth programs. Apples to Oranges 🤷🏾

Hill was a Canton kid who went to Harford before he transfer back to Canton last year. I under the Louisville kid wanted to take advantage of the Early college program and will have 2 years of college credit. This will safe the parents quite a bit of money

That is not his dad. It is his brother who attend Mount Union as a student and is a volunteer.

McKinley will only go as far as their QB will take them. I do think they beat Perry though.
I am not making predictions in the month of March, regarding won-lost records. Nevertheless, as I have stated in previous posts, during the past several weeks, the Canton McK Offensive Line is major concern, due heavy graduations and lack of overall depth in the OL positions on last year's JV squad. Any QB, at any program, will struggle to consistently perform at a high level, without proper pass protection and the O Line opening holes for the running backs. This upcoming season may find Rode running for his life from strong and well coached defensive schemes.

Massillons line started last season questionable, they had the talent but overall size and depth were in question. I even had a fella sending me private messages telling me our line would be our downfall....and all they did was produce a 2,000 yard rusher. I think McKinley will be fine.
