Always right, unless I'm wrong
I could hear Metallica "Sad but true.." in the my head as I read this message.STA might be the worst program in Ohio right now.

Do what now?WR will prove a lot of people wrong in the tournament. They can beat and lose to anyone. So they are dangerous. I think they win out every game except the showdown with Springfield. At that point we will see.
I watched Malvern and WR. Neither team is very good. WR cannot compete with the upper tier of the region.WR will prove a lot of people wrong in the tournament. They can beat and lose to anyone. Neither can River.I watched Malvern and WR. Neither team is very good. WR cannot compete with the upper tier of the region.
You watching their game rn?Neither can River.
you can't say that when you were beat at home by a junior hi team you're going to get a lot of backlashWR will prove a lot of people wrong in the tournament. They can beat and lose to anyone. Ask Harrison Central if Malvern is any goodI watched Malvern and WR. Neither team is very good. WR cannot compete with the upper tier of the region.
Barnesville is a prime example of a team with paper tiger syndrome. They need to play Dalton, Kirtland, Moggy, Lucas, Hartley, — even St Clairsville. They need an actual challenge. I’ve watched Barnesville from time to time (streaming/film) and they legitimately are a team that can have more playoff success if they stopped treating the regular season like it’s the damn Super Bowl.
Obviously Harrison Central isn't good either. Malvern looked like JR high team. Dalton, Danville, Springfield and possibly Lucas would rout them.Ask Harrison Central if Malvern is any good
We will see how it all plays out. I’m not saying Malvern is at the top of this region, I’m just saying they have a nice team this year for a very small D7 public school.Obviously Harrison Central isn't good either. I think they will win a game or two in the playoffs. They should have a decent seed.We will see how it all plays out. I’m not saying Malvern is at the top of this region, I’m just saying they have a nice team this year for a very small D7 public school.
That is the biggest problem for most schools. They would rather have a 9-1 or 10-0 "conference champs!!" shirt than playoff success. My personal favorite is the "10-0 undefeated season" shirts, they conveniently leave out the "we got running clocked in the first round" part.Barnesville is a prime example of a team with paper tiger syndrome. Apology accepted. I too am incredibly disappointed in the way things went down. They have a very steep hill to climb but eventually they might get back. Changes need to happen though and I'm not sure they will.Palucc was a sophmore, Matty was a freshman, urch was a sophomore. Anthony Davis was a senior and hit like a truck. At St. Mary's I played with a lot of the youngins that came up. Sorry if I'm wrong the actual HS years, but we all played together at one point. Dibby was a soph. when we played with the Barrackman, Tim Ryan team and didn't win. The next year was the changer. Our 91 team combined with the 92 team was probably the most talented team in Kennedy History. My number was one. Because we won the the state Championship. Campbell beat us early in the season, but thats when Campbell was the toughest team around. Bricks thrown at the bus were something else. But at the end of the day we beat Springfield CC. Yes I played with the Niles crew at Kennedy, Munno, Weeks, Mocash, Naples... and so on and so forth. We should have beat Wheelsburg. So I apologize to Jaws and all his fans, but I'm just very disappointed at the state of affairs at our High School. We will survive.

River’s line does better against s— that isn’t Barnesville. Let me lift that mick’s analysis from hellhole forum, since I think that person is spot-on in what they identified as the issue.I’ve said this for years. Meadowbrook comes to mind as well. Also, River’s line play is best described as: disinterested.

Makes me wonder how we would've fared against them.River’s line does better against s— that isn’t Barnesville. Let me lift that mick’s analysis from hellhole forum, since I think that person is spot-on in what they identified as the issue.
Have get work done in the trenches to have any chance. Credit to Barnesville’s line; big, weight room pay-off and good with their feet. River has size on the other side of that, but they aren’t working technical — that’s where the plan dies. Can’t plug if your first level is getting escorted to the Belmont County line. Can’t fill if the o-line is disciplined in their blocking and beating non-green helmets at point of attack.
That front 7 is either there with the know-how and the tools to do what needs done, or it isn’t. They aren’t there tonight. All good. Still a good unit that can flush tonight and move on. May have been too tall of a task, beyond their capabilities. There won’t be anyone left on the Pilots’ schedule that has what Barnesville brings to the table.
It may be that in the matter of a week, for a weird game in the middle of the schedule, that you aren’t going to do much gameplanning or intense film work to meter out how that offense is different and therefore requires different s— that needs done.
They don’t have any evidence that Ohioans are in support of it happening beneath Salt Fork State Park, or state property up in M***vern’s neck of the woods, either. HMMM… https://www.cleveland.com/open/2023...-parks-they-dont-know-how.html?outputType=ampYou have no evidence to promote those claims. Methane can bleed out of any pocket at any time. Who really owns sub 500 feet of terra anyhow!?
Still some dawgs. It would’ve gone deep into the fourth quarter, either way.Makes me wonder how we would've fared against them.
