Week 2, best matchup I see could be Maple Heights vs. Walsh Jesuit. Even Walsh Jesuit/Dover wouldn't be bad. Also Cuyahoga Heights/Norton COULD work?

Week 7, Hoban vs. Watterson wouldn't be a bad matchup.

Hoban rolls Watterson or you think they keep it close?
Hoban and Walsh Jesuit use to play Watterson quite frequently in the past. Didn't Watterson win D3 last year? I know they have had many outstanding teams through the years. Not sure about next year because I'm not sure what each team brings back or loses. I know Hoban lost a few coaches. Their defensive coordinator took the Canton McKinley job.

I’d set the line at Hoban -7.5. I say this having no idea about what recruits Hoban may have added to their program since last season. Where the game would be played would also matter. The loses that Hoban has had on the coaching staff are significant. If I understand correctly Hoban’s offense is pretty one dimensional, run. Watterson does a really good job of implementing & executing defensive game plans against one dimensional offenses. I don’t know where these rumors are coming from but if the Feisters are actually thinking about leaving that affects them hugely. I think that’s all just wishful thinking by Massillon fans though.

Someone on here put that rumor to rest. He said the Feisters were very happy at Hoban and would not be transferring anywhere. The one Feister is also a great wrestler

Both are very good wrestlers the freshman won state at 190 and the sophomore state runner up at 215

I honestly do, those Watterson boys come to play. Definitely some good late season non conference ball regardless of the outcome. Only thing that is tricky is I doubt they can make it a 2 year contract, given the new league Watterson is in.
That would be a good game for sure. I wonder if either school is interested.

Parnell is a great DC but I’m sure Tyrell has or will find a quality replacement. I believe Watterson has a very strong 2026 class. I’d take Hoban by 8-11 points.
