Moe might not make the playoffs, but lets not over look them, eh?
Wayne could make the POs if they keep winning and good for them, what they had to go through at the begining of the year was apauling... damn teachers.
Iggy still hasnt lost, lets use that bye week well...

We watched the Moe/LaSalle game.

Moeller should not be taken lightly.

Moe quarterback is good and getting better. He runs and throws well. Moe's runners are solid, but not special. They can hurt X with their passing game.

Moe run defense is solid. Their pass rush is very good. Their pass coverage is weak. The defense has a tendency to get out of position and give up 3-4 big plays a game.

Special teams played very, very well against LaSalle.

Chery (not sure of spelling) is terrific in punt and kick returns. He is also a very talented receiver.

Expect Moe to give X a very competitive game. This game will be for the GCL. (Moe should have little problem w/ Elder.)

We note that Ed's won 17-7 and that Elder also won. More L2 to feast upon. What did Cov Cath do? It would be nifty if the 6 teams that X had previously defeated all won this week!

Cov Cath won 64-12
Elder won 35-14

It was an L2 Harbin sweep.

X has clinched a first round home game.

Anyone have an injury report?

4A #5 Cathedral beat 4A #7 Roncalli 28-0. Next game is 4A #5 Cathedral @ 4A #15 Zionsville another tough game for the Irish. If they win it may be 4A #2 Plainfield (undefeated) @ 4A #5 Cathedral for sectional Championships. I don't want to get too ahead of myself though Zionsville will be tough enough. Any road the Irish take to the Dome will not be easy, as if they get there they will ave had to face #7, #15, #2, #4, #1, and #3 in 4A to do so. Right now focus is on the Eagles of Zionsville. Best of luck to the Bombers thsi week against Moeller.

Wow, that sounds like it was a great game!
no not really lakeland came out flat and it showed. We came off of and off week and it showed. We were looking to the next weeks rival game to continue the win streak in our rival game with kathleen(which is over 30 years long)

Now this weeks game was good. Rival games are always games that dont end until the clock says 0:00. but we won on road against state ranked kathleen in out biggest rival game that we play being both schools are in the same town and less that 10 miles from each other.

sorry I put 35-0 but it was actually 35-7 I must have had a few too many Sodas made my typing swerve a little

The Cathedral Irish defeated Whiteland Friday Night 31-7 in Regional play. Now they advance to another tough test in Semi State against 11-1 and previously #1 in 4A Columbus East Olympians @ Columbus East. I they win that game they get to play for the class 4A State Championship in the RCA Dome. They will have their hands full though against Columbus East.
