VP Debate Predictions and Commentary

What are your expectations?

Let's not forget that Obama had a horrible first debate with Romney back in 2012. He then rebounded smartly to beat Romney in the following two debates. I think presidential incumbents just don't treat the first debate as seriously as they should and their opponent does.

So while Trump is not a very good debater I expect him to do much better in the next one. In fact an improved performance by Trump including being less rude and letting Biden ramble on could actually be a big boost.

The next debate is a town hall style debate a format that Biden excels in and Trump doesn’t.

He does? Maybe 10 years ago but based on what I saw on Monday Biden isn't exactly excelling at anything these days. The key for Trump is to let Biden ramble. Trump needs to act a little more presidential and a lot less rude and let Biden go into a meandering crazy uncle Joe mode.

Pence, Kamala and the moderator didn't wear masks so what kind of a weird virus is covid? Some people wear masks and some don't? She went up to stand next to her husband in front of the American public. There was no need for her to wear a risk.

Just keeping it real. He looked like a first class dork standing next to his wife wearing a mask. It's scientifically ignorant and inhuman.

And for the record I'm convinced that when a democrat wears a mask in public the purpose has NOTHING to do with covid and everything to do with stoking fear.

I don’t think either will literally die in the next 4 yrs. I think Trump would serve the full term, 50/50 on Biden. Less concerned about Biden’s health, more about how I think the Dems really don’t want him. I’m not sure if he’s operating with full cooperation or not. I will say, there’s a 0% chance Biden runs in ‘24. Very likely Kamala is the candidate in ‘24.

I understand, but Trump hired Pence. It's been a total sheet show for 4 years. We actually spied on a Presidents campaign. When that didn't work they impeached. Now it's Cov8d
