Drew had us favored by 43 I think, calpreps had us favored by 63....we ended up winning a game that was never really in doubt by 35....why is wanting to keep our limping players out of a game like that "ignorant?"
The game Friday is already never in doubt, that means all starters should be sitting. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I think Jamir just banged his knee he was fine. In any case no need to rush a couple of the others back but we definitely will need them later.

50 and 63. The thing I noticed with a running clock we now wait till we hit that before we pull starters when in the past if we were up by 14-21 points middle or late in the third we would start to pull starters out. Them starters stay in until that running clock hits now. If the running clock goes into affect right after half the starters usually play one series and they are pulled.

I re-watched this game. And would like to give a kudos to #1 Toles. Kid is tough as nails. He has been driving me nuts all year with the extra crap after the play. But his TD catch in the 2nd half was great. Scored, gave the ball to the official and jogged to the sidelines to celebrate with his team. No showboating. No pointing to the visiting side, it was great to see.

I also noticed this when it happened and was pleasantly surprised to say the least.

This really has nothing to do with a running clock, it's more about if you're limping around in a game against an inferior opponent, especially if you have depth at said position....you don't need to be in there.

I was just stating a fact that is true. Also has to do with even though it's not a running clock and your up by a bunch you should rest your starters. Same principle don't risk getting injury when the game is already decided

What you are is nothing but negative, whining about penalties and now it’s a possible injury. What’s next whiney pos.
Still not convinced your not 2scent, you "joined" around the time he disappeared, but more importantly, your reasoning in your posts are absolute stupidity.

Leave an injured starter, who is your best player on offense in a game that you absolutely don't need him....and you have others who could fill the role very easily, including the sophomore Savior Owens.

But that isn't even your dumbest stance....your, "it hasn't cost us a game yet so let's continue to rack up 130 penalty yards each week" philosophy could be the most stupid thing ever stated on yappi....thanks for the clarification 2scent.

You misunderstood me, I know it's a fact, I know it's true....still has little to nothing to do with a running clock.

Has to do with keeping our players in too long when we are up. I didn't mis understand you. I just added the running clock part in reference as to how long was too long

Wrong, man those trolls are still living in your head when they have been gone for months now.
How about winning games and winning a mf title last year, that’s more than enough reasoning for me to have complete confidence in this coaching staff. You on the other hand do nothing but whine and complain even when this team is dominating opponents.
Clearly with all of your experience as a coach…
94 yds per game is far from 130 but don’t let facts stand in the way of your ignorance.

Sorry if I'm wrong, it's just that 2scent ALWAYS said REALLY stupid stuff, then YOU come along and CONSTANTLY say stupid stuff.

"Last year" being the key words there.

What was your "reasoning" before last season?
You on the other hand do nothing but whine and complain even when this team is dominating opponents.

Having concerns is far from whining and complaining. Your history of stupidity makes it tough to take you serious

Again, don't need to be a coach to know to healthy players are good and penalties are bad.

My 130 comment was talking pretty hypothetically about an individual game....and I don't know this but is that Massillon's average per game? 94 yards in penalties per game? THIS season? And you're bragging about it? Lol....stupidity confirmed.

A lot of wrongs and that you “didnt know” …
Ya you are a fan 🙄 , I’d say its best for the rest of Massillon for you to just sit home and complain about everything to your tv but we already know that’s true.

No, I'll continue to attend every game, home, away and neutral like I have for years.

It's week 12....not week 2....and we racked up 12 penalties for 120 yards, bring UP that average of 94 yards a game that you so proudly posted last week.

Yep and last year week 12 we had 9 for 134 yds. and how did last year work out for us ? Or are you still whining about us having too many penalties last year and if we do that in a big game blah blah blah. Give it a rest.

You act like you are a big fan of Massillon but instead of talking about how balanced this years offense is, with weapons all over the field. On top of the fact we have once again have a black swarm defense that has only given up more than 84 yds rushing in a game 3 times with a lot of jrs and Sophs playing. Yet you never have anything positive to say, just that old bastard in the stands sitting back hoping for the “I told you so game”.
Ignorant !

I am a big fan of Massillon, that's why I want them to correct ANYTHING that could potentially lead to a loss. How selfish of me, right?

So we can only talk about positive things on here? Things that make you happy? Things that give you a warm fuzzy feeling? You HAD to have flunked a couple of times because your comprehension level is SEVERELY lacking.

If you have a big turd resting at the bottom of your fish tank, are you and your pals going to stand there looking at it saying,

"wow, what a nice fish bowl."

"Look how pretty the fish are."

"The murky brown water and odor haven't killed the fish yet so I'm going to leave it there."

Or are you going to ask #1 how did it get there and #2 how can I prevent it from happening again?

The impression I have of you from your obvious lack of intelligence is that you'd leave it....but that's the wrong answer.

I DO NOT want an "I told you so" game because that would most likely mean that Massillon lost. I hope I don't have to say I told you but make no mistake....I will. Remember, this team is good, but not necessarily able to overcome 130 yards in penalties against a really good team that is heading our way soon. Don't even think we're good enough to overcome the 94 yards (that you're so proud of) a game.

Blah blah blah, 99% of your posts are a bunch of nonsense.
Against Ed’s we had 9 for 84 and still won by 10.
The problem with you is there is NEVER anything positive.

Semi's and finals are usually reffed at a higher level and not flag happy. Plus teams are more focused. I am not too worried about it. I worry more about turnovers and special teams. But I get the frustration. It takes away from the game and how we want to represent ourselves. And I am not one of the those "don't celebrate" guys. Refs can be ridiculous. Btw the one on #5 Friday was. And they were definitely interpreting holding strictly.
