My prediction:
A hard salary cap at $240M with $3M annual increases.
A salary floor of 50% the cap annually.
Minimum salary $700,000 with arbitration after 3 years (same as now) with FA starting at age 28 on Dec 1. Regardless of years of service.

Universal DH.
Expanded playoffs to 16 teams, each round 7 games starting September 15th.
Fewer off days, more Double headers and expanded rosters.

Thoughts?

Anything that includes a salary floor and hard cap, I love. In general, I like your plan and nominate you as the arbitrator. I wish that were the agreement as of tomorrow, so spring training could start.

Here is the sad reality, and I do not use the word "never" in life very often.
- The MLB owners will never accept a floor that high. Only 12 teams were above $120M in 2021. Maybe they would accept 33% of the cap, maybe. But probably not, 10 teams were below that in 2021.

- The players association will never accept a hard cap that is at a reasonable number. They might accept a cap at $400M or some ridiculous percentage of revenue.

Greed on both sides...
