What Movies Did You See in March?

As a horror movie junkie, I come across a lot of off beat Horror movies as well as the run in the mill straight to video. I will share my thoughts of the ones that I see this month. So, if you seen a movie new or old and want to share your thoughts go ahead, and if its horror, even better!!!!

I will edit in my horror views here with my rating scale on how I liked it.....

8 = Donnie Darko
7 = Excellent !!!!!
6 = Great
5 = pretty Good
4 = OK/Good
3 = not good
2 = Bad
1 = Unwatchable

7/8 Saving Mr. Banks. Very well acted. Heck, Hanks and Farrell were probably the weak links. The little girl, one of the best child performances I recall.

Exam 6/8 One of those "puzzle" movies. Most cheat, this one was fair and kept me guessing. Not too many unique plot points so minus 2.
 
Forbidden World (US-1982)

Sci-Fi/Horror: A space marshal goes to a far away planet to save researchers who have created a genetic creature that is out of control. Low budget Roger Corman. Had it's moments ... 2.5/8

Evolver (Us-1995)

Action/Horror: A gamer wins a contest and receives a robot named Evolver as a prize. Evolver likes to play games and as it evolves becomes deadly... 3.0/8
 
Charlie Boy (UK-1980)

Horror: A couple brings home an African Fetish Voo Doo doll and after the Hubby messes with it people start dieing. He fears that he and his wife are next.... 5.0/8

I never finished watching it. Probably stopped before it got good, but wasn't interesting to me up to the part I got. Made it as far as Capt, convincing the pursurers that help was coming. Figured if someone cannot keep that speed boat off a ship that size, I pretty much didn't care.
 
Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny & Girly (UK-1970)

Black Comedy/Horror: A family of looney psychopaths lure men to their home as playmates and if they do not obey the rules they are "sent to the angels". Everything is fine until "New Friend" shows up and Mumsy, Nanny, and Girly take a lusty liking to him.... the 2nd half is much better than the first.... 4.0/8

So pretty much you hate good movies. Would much prefer the likes of Vin Diesel I'd imagine.
 
I respect opinions, but that was a fantastic movie. You may not like it as much as the next, but to not finish it is very surprising to me.

I don't watch movies to judge them.

I generally like Tom Hanks movies, movies about real life and riding on ships. I don't enjoy movies about people being stupid and that's what I got into my head about this movie, plus it seemed slow to develop. I wasn't getting interested in any of the characters or the situation.

On a different day in a different mood, I might have finished watching the movie. This one just didn't appeal to me at the time I was watching it.

Stick to your guns easy, it was a disappointment to me also. Love Hanks, but this wasnt a very good movie., just OK.
 
I didn't think it was great, but it was certainly good and entertaining. Regardless, not finishing a movie and then trying to judge it is incredibly stupid.

I suppose that's true but I only judged the part I watched, which made me not interested in watching more. Nothing stupid about that. I never rated the movie.
 
The Expelled (UK-2010)

Horror: A group of thugs attack teachers and students after hours in a school. There was no character development what so ever so I didn't care about anyone. If this was a true "slasher" film as this film thinks it is then that doesn't matter but it wasn't. No T/A either... 2.0/8
