Final Comments:
This year’s squad brings back 5 players that played big minutes during last year’s 2nd NWCC championship season in as many years. The team did graduate a very talented players’ in Alex Sanders who was a bog key to the team’s success. This year’s team returns 3- year starter and potential Conference Player of the Year, Maddox Underwood. The sophomore class is talented and will be asked to provide the team with much needed depth. The Rams will look to play fast and unselfishly. Defensively, U.S.V. wants to play a full court game and mix up their defenses. Overall, this is a very competitive group of players who will attempt to carry over their success and winning mentality from the fall to the hardwood this winter.
