The OSU VS. The UM

Penn State fan who loves to troll the Buckeyes. He also has an unhealthy obsession with JJ. JJ, if you see this, you may need to get a restraining order!
To be fair it does seem like a lot of our guys are more interested in trying to cradle up their opponent of shots as opposed to working on defending shots.

Being a onetime college wrestler, I have to raise an eyebrow at anyone who would call a varsity D1 wrestler a "nobody", A rather brash statement. Might want to also try spellcheck.
Well said. I was glad when Shane Sparks called out Ben Askren for saying that some DI college wrestlers "suck."

Saw an interview that was held with Bormet on the forfeit they at 141. They had a wrestler there (assume it was Lemley, but it was said in the interview that he did not pass a skin test and was not allowed to wrestle. They did not have another 141 wrestler on the trip (and apparently not another 133 that could have moved up).

Just got fooled again by the UM reference - but it was a couple of months ago. I was all excited that the Big Ten championships were coming to Ann Arbor this year. Just went to check on whether tickets were available yet. They are. In Maryland. That other UM - again.

Just got a cheap flight to Baltimore and tickets were $30 for the weekend. Was actually at Michigan last night for their upset of Iowa. Place went insane when Lemley beat Real Woods. Was sitting a few rows behind his dad and it was a pretty emotional moment for him. Looked like a pin to me.

It's really easy to see a fall from 10 rows up in the stands. We hear it all the time.
I couldn't tell from where I was sitting. Watching the replay video's what lead to my decision that I thought it was a pin. And even at that, the camera view isn't what the ref is seeing so I don't fault the ref for not calling it.

I was watching it on BTN. I thought he called the pin with 1 second left. Must have been that the clock they use for TV was slow by a couple of seconds because the whistle came with time still on the clock. I don't know how that was not called a pin. But then again, it seems like there are always different criteria sited for a fall. The entire left shoulder blade was on the mat and the inside part (closest to the back bone) of the right blade was touching. Must have had an arm under the right shoulder so that may be why it wasn't called. Didn't matter in the end.
