Tallmadge Takes Lead And Never Looks Back in 8-1 Win Over Revere

Tallmadge won over Revere 8-1 on Tuesday at Revere High School.

Tallmadge got on the board in the top of the first inning after Katie Huth singled a run. The Blue Devils scored a second run in the inning after an error scored a runner from second base.

Riley Jackson earned the win over the Devils. The righty surrendered seven hits and on run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Ashley Gardner took the loss for Revere. The starting pitcher went five and one-third innings, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits, striking out five and walking two.

Tallmadge tallied 11 hits in the game. Katie Huth led the Blue Devils with two runs batted in. She went 3-for-3 on the day. Leila Staszak, Lexi Gray, and Sydney Becks each collected multiple hits.

Paige Kelley led Revere with two hits in three at-bats. She stole two bases and turned one double play in the game.
