SWBL Baseball 2025

Finals from Thursday:
Ross 10, Bellbrook 3
Monroe 13, Edgewood 10

Ross and Monroe tied at the top of their side. They play each other twice next week. Those matchups will likely determine the winner of that side. Edgewood is still in the hunt though.
 
Only game last night with conference implications:

Carlisle 8 , Madison 2

Madison is dropping a little bit into 2nd place, behind Oakwood in 1st. Carlisle currently in 3rd. Lots can change in the next week with this side of the conference.
 
Several games with conference standing implications:
Oakwood's win secures their spot at the top currently. They are on a roll. 12 or 13 straight
Valley View beats Waynesville, which is right above them in the standings.
Brookville gets its first SWBL win.

Franklin remains winless in SWBL action.
Monroe's win over Ross puts them in 1st place. Looks like it is a three-way race between Monroe, Ross and Edgewood.

Madison still has a shot at league after a win over the Jacks. They will need some help though. Carlisle is also not all the way out of contention.

Either Monroe is really good or Bellbrook is pretty bad just my opinion.
Monroe played good all around. Bellbrook had some bad errors that cost them dearly. They had no answer to our hitting. Monroe smacked the ball great. Pitching was great.

Monroe clinches, at minimum, a share of the SWBL League title. Monroe faces Ross Monday,(continued game from earlier rainout, 0-0 in the top of the 4th inning). If Monroe beats Ross on Monday, they win the SWBL title outright.
 
Edgewood is getting hot at the right time!

11-5 over a 17-6 Lebanon team
10-4 over a 17-8 Princeton team
10-5 over a 14-9 Lak East team

Yes, congratulations to Monroe for winning the SWBL title.

But also, congrats to Edgewood and Ross on sharing in that title.

Edgewood, Monroe and Ross all split with each other and all swept Bellbrook and Franklin. Bellbrook finished with 2 wins, and Franklin was defeated in SWBL play.

The other side is shaping up to be a battle as well I see.

Thanks for the info. There are some good players in the SWBL this year. Anxious to see how everything plays out with all-league honors.

Is there not a pitcher of the year then on both sides? I don't follow your statement..
