Stark County Football 2022

Overall a great night for Stark openers. Beautiful weather, lots of energy and fun. Remember it wasn't that long ago that attendance was restricted and games cancelled due to pandemic. Best of luck to all in Week 2.

So, actual Stark County teams (i.e. not counting Green and Malvern's results) were a combined 8-11 in week 1 and 5-8 in games played against out-of-county opponents.
 
It looks like Canton South may be in sudden need of an opponent this weekend. The teachers in the Columbus City Schools are going on strike.
 
IMHO It is going to be a long year for Jackson.. Was very unenthused with the game against Akron East... The new turf is great, but money could have been used elsewhere in the stadium.. The sound system seems like the same from the McDaniels days, Couldn't hear a penalty call clearly, still has covid stickers on the stands on where to sit.
 
From info in another thread, it appears South was the odd team left out in the new matchups resulting from teams that were originally scheduled to play Columbus City opponents this weekend.

Canton South should be 7, just ahead of Perry, maybe even 6. IMHO
