Goes to show that anyone with a computer and hookup to the interwebz can build an argument. He actually has some decent points but the foundation of trading Rodgers would be the certainty that Flynn could perform well enough, along with whatever crazy additions they got a trade, to offset the loss or AR. Aint' gonna happen.

Guys like Brady and Rodgers don't grow on trees, and when you find one of them, consider yourself the luckiest team in the world. NEVER trade one of those guys, I don't care what another team is offering. Build around them

Agreed. If you look at most NFL rosters, they are nearly all equal in talent. What generally separates bad from good and good from great is QB play.

I think back in the mid-'00s when Harrison and Wayne were in their primes, Manning could have been hurt and an average QB could have won games with them. But now? Nope.

Does the manning situation not hold any weight? I think if he gets injured I could see any team moving on. They did it with brett why wouldn't they with him?

I don't think Green Bay really had any choice with Favre. First, he retired. Secondly, Rodgers had been a back-up for long enough. They just had to move on IMO.
