It's okay to admit you were wrong. They are horrendously mediocre.
I've always admitted when I'm wrong. It honestly doesn't happen too often, though.

I think most people knew they were Andrew McCutchen, A.J. Burnett, and Neil Walker + a bunch of guys playing over their heads + a couple guys not playing up to their ability. I was expecting a bit of a drop, but not from +16 to +2 in about a month and half.
 yeah, right.
I'd say it's more of a mental issue than a slump. He'll have a great outing going, then bomb out in an inning or follow up a great outing with a couple horrible ones.
Walker is really just a steady guy. Hits about .285-.295, a homer every now and then, and can usually be counted on to not strike out in a critical situation. Unfortunately, he and McCutchen just can't make up for everyone else.
They've got the Cubs next up. Unfortunately, the Cubs have really been trouble for the Bucs this year. If they sweep that series, it will definitely look better as far as finishing .500 or better.
I'm already assuming they're out of the playoffs, even though somehow they're only 2.5 back.

Sub-.500. LOL
