Shoot- "follow the science"? Now where did I hear that one before? Lol. Hey, if you can produce hard 'science' that tells me lifting is that much superior to sprinting for football success, I'll buy in. My argument is methods and ways of doing things 'smarter' is a crap shoot. There's always a 'better way'. If you lined up teams from the old school ways, they'd dominate the kids today. Why? Tuffness! The only metric in school boy football that really matters. That and the ability to recruit exceptional talent.

I've worked too long in business and have been around too many people who can overcomplicate a ham sandwich. Simplicity wins the day. Don't overthink it. Do sprints and lifting. And yoga stretching. Lots of stretching.

You may be right, but I'd love to see the high school version of Chris Spielman try to cover Marquael Parks or Tre Tucker on a wheel route out of the backfield.

Mustang at midfield would be more costly due to the additional artwork required compared to a block T. But when the financier wants their logo on the field, you make it happen.

Also...those soccer lines are about a yard outside of the football lines on the sidelines. That's not typical.

Your probably right about slightly higher cost for a horse vs. a T although I doubt it was enough to make or break the deal. My guess is they wanted a more clean, traditional look and there were not too many roadblocks with raising the funds for the project with more to come.

As for the soccer lines, I know as much about futbol as I do in trying to cash in on a free beach haus...... I need to learn more from the master's on here
 
What's everyone's take on this? Many a debate on the ye olde private vs. public. I think it was only a matter of time, not sure if other larger private schools will follow suite and if this is a step towards separating for playoffs.......

My take is CCC just keeps sitting on the outside.....

A) Is CCC holding off on joining a league because there's a longer strategy in motion possibly merging with Sirpilla RV Aquinas?
B) Are they thinking they're too small and/or too far from the North Coast Conference or the Ohio Catholic Athletic Conference? I could see the OCAC being too big and too far for CCC....but the NCC?
C) Are they waiting on #PACtion? If so, they'll be like the Maytag Man sitting by himself.

NCC....make a move....add Canton Central Catholic. Is the heart of the PTO (Perry Township, Ohio - Stark County) really too far for the North Coast Conference? The schools in Elyria, Mentor, Parma can't travel to CCC and vice versa?
