This level of sophistication is one of many reasons why I wholeheartedly supported Northwest joining the PAC. Blackened chicken on a tavern house salad isn't some backwater cuisine found out in Sullivan Black River or Danville or Uhrichsville.

Now where are the Koach fans with their Manchester dining choices?

Ever stop to think it might be confidential, and out of courtesy to those involved it‘s the right thing to do.Remember there is more than just Friday nights. These guys have careers that come before coaching football, and I‘m not going to share their business on a site like this. All I said is the end of interviews is this week (Saturday), and there are 3 finalist. There is one candidate that is the favorite, and so much so thst discussions have been had beyond football. I’ll leave it at that.

Bingo! Most likely finalize tomorrow,;as I said announcement early next week. There were/are 3 finalist, but this has been a 2 person race for a long time, and the other being Jason. Administration preferred to have someone in the building another factor. Teaching position was an early obstacle as well as compensation. Not from a coaching perspective, but from a full time job. Giving up AD position at Chippewa with move. Also, word out of Doylestown, he had already resigned as football coach, but not AD. Was not going to coach unless it was Manchester.

Bohley would be a SOLID get for the Panthers.
 
Any of the three finalists would have been a good "get". If he is the guy, Bohley is an exceptional coach, and he understands the tradition and culture at Manchester.

The Buffalo Ranch Wings at Manchester Tavern are KILLER! I am tempted, right now, to drive from Virginia just to get a dozen, that's how good they are. If I ever saw any of you walking down the street with a container of those wings, I would not hesitate to throw you to the ground and take them from you. You have been warned! :ROFLMAO:🍗

Don’t disagree with anything you’re saying but often wondered if the “culture” idea is a chicken-egg conversation? Does the coach adopt the local culture or does he instill it in his team? Doesn’t really apply here since Mike B grew up a Panther but wondered how other felt.

Probably a thread for the springtime when we’re all bored.

I think it needs to be a blend of sorts. Look at direction under Brophy. Went away from the tradition and concepts that were applied under Jim. In my opinion Bohley will bring the tradition and lore of the way things were, but add his own wrinkles such as an emphasis on weight training which was never a major point. It can’t and doesn’t have to be one or the other, but yiu can’t throw away 50 years of tradition.
