Just logged in and can’t believe no updates on the first day? I heard Ed’s advanced 13 to quarterfinals and maintain a 1/2 point lead thus far but not sure.

I've yet to personally attend the OHSAA state finals, but I'd have to get used to all the happenings going on at the same time. Thought 4 mats at the same time was crazy enough to watch in person.

Elder advance all 4 of their wrestlers to day 4
Just wanted to mention that the great green and gold Eagle team - from Oregon Clay - went into the state championships with a #4, #3, and two #2 seeds and came away with 2 pins and 2 tech falls. #4 Carter Whaley got a pin over the #1 seed he faced (I think from KF district).

I saw Bucksman tweet out 8 but he may have been going off memory.

Ah got it. I’m pretty sure Graham had 9 finalists in 2009.
Either way - I agree with you I think Eds gets 9/13 into the finals.

Eight for Graham in 09- Brascetta, Neibert, Felipe, DT, Stephens, Kyle Ryan, Thomusseit all won. Huston Evans the lone 2nd place finisher

Those Evans - Gresham matches were fire. Such a fun team to watch.
My apologies, the record was NINE from Graham in '09. When I was doing it this afternoon, I just did a control-F on "Graham" from the brackets and eight were highlighted (Stephens didn't have "Graham" in the entry so I missed it).
