Flo lists Ohio State as having Vince Bouzakis and Maddox Shaw as the only commits to tOSU. Any one close to the program have any insight on any other recruiting news? Can we keep Blaze in state?
 
 
We have ten freshman and sixteen sophs/RS sophs. We have a roster of 38 that includes three Gr. and three RS seniors.
Next season there will be a thirty man roster limit. That means the Buckeyes will have to let some guys go just to have room for Blaze...:cautious:
 
I'd love to see Joey and Marcus become Buckeyes. Paddy should move up and enjoy wrestling again. And I think Joey has a RS still.

From what I understand, no. The schools who comply with the court ruling (likely only tOSU and a few others) will be allowed to offer 30 full scholarships, but their rosters will be limited to only those 30.
 
IF OSU took Sammy off the roster last year , and Sammy trained at the rtc. That saves a roster spots.
Or any of the redshirts. Do redshirts take roster spots?
Can you keep a guy to train at your rtc without them being on your official roster
athletes can transfer so freely now, who cares about what the roster lists
It seems like listing a guy on a roster can be meaningless? unless I am missing something

I believe that only applies to the so-called power 5 conferences, and football only. I don’t think it will matter much longer anyway. The big ten and SEC are on the verge of circumventing the NCAA in footbal all-together, in what will be the biggest money grab of all time. Unfortunately, I don’t see any way the rest of the NCAA “student-athlete” model survives.
